With the shield/absorb changes it is potentially more effective to run tank gear now, however, at least in WZ rsther than arena and doubly so if you have a healer. They did a damage nerf to all tanks a while ago, and the shielding crits is a buff to all tanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For damage--> dps For tank --> it depends (gear wise, spec tank (duh)) Do note: i was never a believer in the "skank is better than dps for damage in pvp" concept. I think that, by and large, the people that do believe this are idiots that get outparsed by tanks in pve and couldnt kill a unguarded dps PT that doesnt get healed in pvp.
