My reborn guardian (used to be chiss) in his new fancy gear... a mix of dreadseed, jori daragon and darth malak with black/black dye.... skimped.

It seems in the Star Wars universe, all males are retractable.

The lack of a bit "down there" is disappointing, given how much they love to show off the female form, but I'm thus-far ok-ish with them mining your thread, so long as they introduce the Slave/Dancer gear by removing the gender lock on the current stuff, and not forcing us to buy new ones.

It was made for fun... I beginning to think some BW/EA dude took me srsly.

I think what you've done for this game is profound, and while some people may not like the cutouts, quite a few, including yours truly, absolutely adore them.

On a bigger societal issue affecting the MMO industry, what you've done in SWTOR is a great example of convincing a studio to respect gender equality in a particular game (to be fair, Bioware had been gender equal on Dragon Age and Mass Effect). The recent fiasco at Funcom's The Secret World (Mankinigate) shows that gender bias can be quite toxic, and I hope other studios (especially Cryptic's STO team) learn from it.

Personally, your impact in game has made SWTOR be my primary game. I admit, I do buy the new cartel packs in an attempt to get some of the pieces, then buy the rest at the GTN (the chest pieces can be quite expensive in game). I'm sure I'm not alone and without a doubt, your artwork has helped improve SWTOR's bottomline. So its not surprising that some "BW/EA dude" takes you seriously.

As for the upcoming Unburdened Champion set, I admit I too was a bit surprised by the low cut pants. It was clearly a joke due to the..."p*bs"... but I ain't complaining. I prefer that it not have a default belt to show continuous torso skin, but I also understand there might be a technical reason for it (since all leggings have a default belt art). That said, I am purposely holding off leveling my Sage until I complete that set. ;)

Im just thinking the low pants underline the fact that these are game chars and they have no sex really, a gruesome fact that I would never want to confront. Especially for male chars. Edited by Ixum

Well, they are ultimately game characters, there is no denying that. Have you played SWG? They had "hot pants" that are even skimpier than the Jori Daragon Loincloth (they were also low), and wearable by both male and female characters. But it was clearly made for female characters if you know what I mean... :p

I might have touched on this subject before but from what I've read the slave/dancer outfits were available for male chars in alpha/early beta... but I guess since the early beta tester is more of a serious kind of player there was outrage and concern. So it was back to flatlining nicely. Anyway, if this is true it would practically maybe just be a flick of a switch to make them available again.
