Lower/remove cooldown on force leap.

Cant decide if your joking or not.

 

Assuming you are a sentinel, then:

 

Legslash - level 16 ability, costs 2 bars, reduces target movement speed by 50% for 12 seconds.

 

Problem fixed.

Yeah and you thought all of the nerf sentinels talk was bad now, just think about what it would be like if they actually implemented this redicilous request, seriously are you that bad at your class that you need a 4th crutch, sents already have 3

Not sure if serious. Knights, their ACs and all three specs in each AC have numerous ways to stick to targets, close gaps and potentially attack at range:

 

 

  • Sentinel - level 16 class skill - Leg Slash reduce target movement speed by 50% for 12 seconds
  • Sentinel - Watchman, second tier - Inflammation: Cauterize slows target 50%
  • Sentinel - Watchman, third tier - Blurred Speed: reduce Force Leap's cooldown by three seconds
  • Sentinel - Watchman, fourth tier - Close Quarters: reduce Force Leap's min. range to 5 or 0m.
  • Sentinel - Combat, first tier - Defensive Forms: increase movement speed by 15% in Ataru Form
  • Sentinel - Combat, fourth tier - Displacement: root on Crippling Throw
  • Sentinel - Combat, sixth tier - Debilitation: root on Master Strike
  • Sentinel/Guardian - Focus, third tier - Zealous Leap: second gap closer with 10m range
  • Sentinel/Guardian - Focus, fifth tier - Agility Training: increase movement speed by 20% for five seconds after Zealous Leap
  • Sentinel/Guardian - Focus, seventh tier - Force Exhaustion: movement speed reduction from 60% - 10% over five seconds, 10m range
  • Guardian - level 12 class skill - Freezing Force: point blank, AoE snare, reduces enemies' movement 50% for nine seconds, no cooldown
  • Guardian - level 26 class skill - Force Push: 10m range, push back, two second knockdown, resets Force Leap
  • Guardian - level 36 class skill - Saber Throw: 30m range, damage, grants focus, can be specced to 25s cooldown
  • Guardian - Defense, second tier - Solidified Force: Freezing Force costs no focus
  • Guardian - Defense, fourth tier - Stasis Mastery: Force Stasis no longer required channeling
  • Guardian - Defense, fifth tier - Hilt Strike: four second stun
  • Knight - level 46 class skill - Dispatch: 10m range attack on targets under 30% health

As watchman and sentinel you have 4 "long" range abilities since you are melee.

 

Force leap(30m)

Blade storm (10m)

Crippling Throw(a 10m saber throw with debuff)

Force stasis

 

When someone runs from you, first of all they should either be slowed with leg slash or the cauterize effect right after leap if you fear them running. Then you can use your moves till they run(build focus!), then hit them with crippling throw or blade storm to do damage as they run, then force stasis, after all this your leap is ready, repeat.

 

Its hard to stay on inquisitors when they stun you and speed away but you'll find them again...
