Sorcerer DPS only still bottom third pretty much no matter what?

What exactly is the issue here? Do you want Sorc dps to be able to clear content/compete in pvp, or do you want them to be FOTM and at the top? I think this is something players don't seem to grasp. They want their favorite class/spec to be the best, which is understandable but over long term doesn't really promote better balance. I will let people who are the best in pvp for both solo and grouped ranked speak to the state of sorc dps in those areas. I still get the sense that sorc survivability compared to other classes is lacking due to its different nature compared to others. What i mean by this is that sorc defense revolves around kiting much more than most other classes who can facetank a lot more damage. As for PvE, ie NiM, multiple people have cleared all of the NiM content with a sorc dps. It isn't the best ranged dps. The others do generally perform better, but Sorc still can pull their weight.

I would honestly want all classes to be equally as capable of competing for the dps spot.

 

Be the best at all things all the time? no!

 

Every single class should be perfectly balanced in all roles, no excuses.
