Does anyone know if there is a main stat cap for example me being a sentienal is there a point when there is too much strenght also whats the cap on surge/crit multi. Could Bio-ware possible put out a chart that tell us whats too much of a different skill so we can adjust our characters accordinally. Atm i have 1313 expertise , 35.67 crit and 75.14 crit multi thats with full buffs and a might stim. (also im wearing full war hero) Edited by Odeon

Mainstat do not have diminishing returns but since mods like Expertise/Crit is % based it creates a diminishing return naturally.

 

For example let's say you can get 50 expertise or 500 mainstat. Right now you'd take 500 mainstat, but what if your total main stat is 5 million? Would you still take 500 more mainstat compared to 50 expertise? Of course not, since 50 expertise is about 1% more damage which is eqiuvaelnt of 50000 mainstat. It's unlikely we'll ever see numbers like that but just be aware that adding a fixed amount of mainstat amounts to an ever decreasing % DPS increase, compared to relatively constant % mods like Expertise or even crit. For example, 1% surge would definitely be preferable over 500 mainstat too if your mainstat is 5 million.
