Can the pre-order Crystals only be used once and stuck to one item? How do they work?

 

I am approaching level 7 soon. When ever I get time to play again should be able to achieve it, but I don't want to use the crystal on a low level item which I would just be junk after my next couple of levels.

You can reuse them, just extract it from the item.

There is a pre-order crystal vendor on each station. You get to the station at about level 10.

 

This vendor can only be accessed by people who pre-ordered, and you can buy as many black-yellow crystals as you want (bound on pickup, obviously). And they only cost 10 credits each

 

So if you want, you can even have a bunch of different weapons all with the crystal in them.

There is a vendor that sells them. I dual wield and both sabers have the yellow/black stone.

 

For republic. Vendor is near crew skill trainers iirc, posting from phone so I might be wrong on location, but vendor exists.

You can buy it back, but how long the buyback list is active , I do not know.

You can indeed remove the crystal so long as you are willing to pay the small fee for doing it.

There is a vendor on the Fleet who sells them should you lose yours in any way or simply need more of them. Edited December 15, 2011 by Ardenya
