I remember a thread before the forums were wiped and it asked, how would the galaxy be if Anakin never turned to the dark side. So I figured I would start the thread up again, though it can be about anything.

 

Rules

 

- Must include Anakin killing the emperor in some shape or form, or it can be different where the Imperials win in some fashion or another faction in the galaxy.

 

- Must be at least a paragraph(this way it can at least get some creativity, but it can be more.)

 

- No slandering of any characters or what have you, don't like a character? Don't include them, however if they have an elaborate death then by all means post it.

Ok so here it my take(note some of it is from my previous post before the forums were wiped.)

 

Anakin never arrives at Palpatine's office, thus he kills Mace Windu with his superiority in the force. He then realizes that getting Anakin to be his apprentice is now impossible, and then executes Order 66 with jedi around the galaxy dying. The raid on the temple is led by a detactment of Palpatine's royal guard leading the 501st, though because of Anakin not leading the attack is considered somewhat of a failure. Only 3 survivors in the temple are left, and they are Anakin Skywalker, Cin Drallig and Shaak Ti the 3 leave the temple and link up with Bail Organa, Yoda and Obi-Wan.

 

Padme gives birth to Luke and Leia, and the jedi go into hiding as the Galactic Empire takes control of the galaxy and the jedi are considered traitors. A few years pass, Luke and Leia begin their jedi training while the Rebel Alliance fights against the Empire though they have more resources and ships to start with being that they had help from the jedi raiding several Imperial convoys and getting many planets to support them. At this point Palpatine has a new apprentice, named Darth Anubis who is a very powerful sith lord. The battle of Yavin is roughly the same, and they leave Yavin IV in search of a new base of operations.

 

Eventually they set up on Hoth, and the battle of hoth does take place however since the Rebel Alliance has more resources, they have heavy artillery and their snowspeeders to combat the AT-ATs. Blizzard force led by General Veers, is taking heavy loses but not before the shield generator is destroyed and Darth Anbuis lands. Only Anakin and Cin are in the base, Shaak Ti, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Padme, Luke, Han and Chewie are out in the galaxy doing other Rebel operations on other worlds. Darth Anbuis enters the hanger where Anakin and Cin engage the sith lord in a fierce duel, Cin attacking first before being kicked back.

 

Anubis then uses force lighting against Anakin but he blocks it with his saber, Cin comes back using force speed and drives back the sith lord with Anakin before they disarmed him. The battle of hoth is in the Rebellion's favor, and Anubis is taken into custody where Alliance High Command executes him shortly after. A few more years pass, Yoda dies and Luke and Anakin have reached their full potential becoming the most powerful force users in history. Palpatine senses the demise of his apprentice, and he knows that he will soon be next meanwhile the Rebels are preparing their attack on the 2nd death star.

 

It all pretty much goes the same like in the movie, its a trap and such however the strike team consists of Han, Cin, Chewie and Luke with a detachment of Rebel Specforce Wilderness Fighters. They defeat the legion of stormtroopers with the ewoks help, and blow the shield bunker using charges while Leia, Shaak Ti, and Obi-Wan are coordinating the fleet attack(the fleet being 5X larger then what it was in the movies). Anakin meanwhile lands aboard the 2nd death star, while the battle goes on and heads towards the throne room confronting Palpatine. In a fierce duel, Anakin soon overcomes Palpatine and kills him before escaping the death star as it is about to blow.

 

With the 2nd death star destroyed, the Rebel fleet engages the remaining and demoralized imperial fleet forcing them to retreat into hyperspace. The war continues on for another few more years, and then The New Republic is formed.

If Anakin never became Vader and ended up raising Luke and Leia, then Luke would never of been raised on Tatooine, thus they would never of met Han and Chewie, and most probably the droids would of been captured and the deathstar plans retrived by imperial forces as Obi wouldn't of been there to say "These arn't the droids your looking for" Thus the battle for Yavin would of failed for the Rebels. Okay, here goes:

 

Anakin talks to Yoda during episode 3 but takes the advice of letting people go to heart. When he finds out that palpatine is a sith lord he tells Master Windu who argues that Anakin should stay at the jedi temple, however Qui-Gon Jinn's spirit appears and tells Mace that Anakin has mastered his emotions and should accompany the other jedi.

 

When the 5 jedi confront palpatine he states that Anakin is a fool and will now lose Padme. Mace is surprised at the revelation about Anakin but declares it will be dealt with later. Palpatine does his twirling jump at the jedi but as he believes Anakin can still be turned he underestimates him, leading Anakin to force choke palpatine upon his landing. Mace tells Anakin not to use his anger to defeat palpatine and use the light side of the force. Kit Fisto then slashes at palpatine's legs causing Anakin to drop him in surprise. Mace then quickly finishes the fight by stabbing palpatine through the chest making him die instantly.

 

After the defeat of Palpatine, Anakin accepts a holocall from Nute Gunray in Palpatine's office gaining proof that he was responsible for the entire clone wars. The seperatists are arrested and put on trial while this proof allows the senate to elect a new chancellor.

 

Order 66 is never executed and the galactic empire never comes into being, Anakin is commended for his heroism yet is removed from the jedi council for hiding his marriage to Padme. After the Twins are born they are raised by Anakin and Padme on Coruscant.

You all miss the one key lesson of the movies.. the force will always seek balance. If Anakin had not turned then another would take his place, the irony is there can be no peace, the very balance the jedi get hot for precludes it.

In fact, Anakin's path starts when Shmi dies, soz she doesn't... As well, he doesn't give in to his emotions for Padme, so no Luke and Leia... Han is now a real scruffy nerf herder... but Chewy dies on Kashykk against order 66. The Rebels don't exist, and the sith rule the galaxy forever.

Padme would still be alive, but because both of her children were Verry stron in the force, Anakin would either have to leave the Order, or Padme would have to take a Fake husband as the Order would find out one way or the other,

 

Anakin leaves the order, due to not wanting to give up the marrage thing. but because of himself knowing he was / is the one to bring balance to the force, he end up following the teachings of Dark Side. as its still true he will bring Balance to the Force, Balance of a Totally ruled Light Side with Many Followers. to Equal Followers of Light and Dark.

 

With his Son ( Named QuiGon in memory of his first teacher and the person that gave him his dreams of freedom and becoming a Jedi, as well as Fully and totally beliving in him)and Daughter ( the daughter of which is named Shmi Skywalker in memory of his mother )trained in the ways of the Force, as well as his wife's contact's / wealth. he is able to Form an Army of the Empire, with his Son and Daughter beside him and fighting with him ( as his way is the only way they know ).

 

together they bring the same Peace through the galaxy that Palpatine did, but with more Sith.

 

During the Time of the Sith Empire Reborn, a young Recruit Solo ended up continuing and passed his training on Cordia to be an Imperial Officer, this was due to seing Shmi during a routine Inspection. over time the drive and feelings for Shmi Skywalker drove him through the ranks to where he was a trusted Second in command for Shmi herself.

 

Qui-Gon on the other hand started diverging from his fathers teachings, after comming across a holocron recording from Vergere, started to delve into a more Gray area. after seing Chewbaca being beaten, Qui-Gon saved Chewbaca, and Chewy and other wookies became Personal Bodyguards of Qui-Gon.

 

due to the DeathStar Plans being created before teh start of the Clone Wars, they so happen to find their way to the Republic, which in turn use it on multiple worlds under imperial control as imperial forces would not give up the planets. one of which was Naboo, where Jar Jar was on Vacation, not many noticed. but many mourned the loss of Naboo, the home planet of Padme and where Anakin and Padme married and gave birth to their children.

 

With the Destruction of Naboo, now Qui-Gon fully joines his father Darth Anakin, Lord Shmi and becomes Lord Qui-Gon, recruting the Bounty Hunters ( as they like killing Jedi ) of Madalor, and going to war with the Republic trying to erase them out all together.

 

aroudn this time, Vergere and the Vong show up. Vergere sensing the amount of Force the Empire is throwing around with just Anakin, Qui-Gon, and Shmi talks the Vong into joining the Imperials.

 

 

thats all i have for now and remember it was Padme that gave Luke and Leah their names, Anakin was out of the picture by the time of their birth.
