Is it possible for you guys (the devs) to enable it so that the flashpoint doesnt complete during the actual fight, but only once you talk to the npc thats in that last room.that will help a lot with loot issues.because upon killing the commander you complete the flashpoint, and are instantly locked outside of loot if you happen to die to the medic and have to release to ress.

 

I think this is the way to fix the issues people are having with it.

I would think that the encounter should be keyed to "defeating commander, security chief, and medic" rather than just the main mob, regardless. Every group I've done this encounter with has gone for medic first, then sec-chief, then commander last. It's not one mob you have to defeat, but all three. Or, alternatively, if (!) you defeat the Commander while leaving one of the others standing, then whoever is left should immediately surrender.

 

But yes, I agree, lockout shouldn't trigger until you've finished the dialog after the fight.
