PTs as a tank have basically the best mitigation just doing their rotation, but in return they have the fewest defensive cds (they have 2 I believe, vs jugs who have like 5 or 6). So if you are someone who really like being able to click something to mitigate damage, then go with shrouded crusader. Otherwise go with shield amplification. Thanks for your reply. Np. Just to make sure I was clear (cause I wasnt talking about the endurance vs mitigation debate), both will mitigate damage. Just shield amp will do it for a smaller, more frequent amount amount automatically just by you having it equipped. Shrouded crusader will mitigate more, but it requires you to click something (and has a longer cd, so it's less frequent). An added play-style benefit to the Shrouded Crusader on PT's is that it's cooldown aligns perfectly with your other two base defensives. All are 2 mins. Also, the thing that generally causes my healers headaches is spiky damage, not constant. So, any ability to mitigate the spikes is appreciated more. Maybe you're interested to know that the reactive warding relic is affected by a bug where different absorb shields kind of override each other.
