The size of the purple background behind the player indicator on the map has been reduced in size. Additionally, other players are no longer hidden behind the background.

Are you serious?

The fix we need for that is to revert the symbols to what they where before and simply change the colour. And you come up with this?

But yeah, why go an easy way:rolleyes:

Oh come on guys, give them some credit, they are understaffed, underfinanced and not so good at writing :)

But they are doing what they can!

Credit for what?

They're fixing things they implemented fully aware that no one asked for and almost everyone hates.

No one asked for new Map Icons. No one asked for green aoe circles. No one asked for double XP. They did this stuff, royally messed up and are now "fixing" this instead of having never touched the stuff and did some real bug fixing.

Why would they spend time and money "fixing/doing w/e" something without reason? There has to be some reason somewhere you know, but they don't need to tell everything.

They did mention and explain the new aoe-circles and the XP-boost though.

Because...they are terrible at their jobs and have no quality control.

They made a change for no reason, that no one asked for or wanted(like GC), its horrible, and was obviously horrible and should never have made it live. But we should praise them for FINALLY fixing their mistake after cursing us with it for a month. No, I dont think so.

When they do SOMETHING right we will let them know, hasn't happened since 5.0

Fixing obvious mistakes that should have never been made DOES NOT COUNT.

In fact 5.0 isnt an expansion or content AT ALL. Its just an introduction of bugs for them to fix over time and pretend that is content.

Remove galactic command.

No one asked for a change of aoe circles. They did it anyway, screwed up and now they have to fix it.

No one asked for new group member minimap icons. They changed it, twice by now, both times made it worse than it was before, and now have to fix it. And the way they are fixing it is just as stupid as the last change.

No one asked for XP event. And while this is something most people actually like, it's not the first and everytime before some people asked for a means to turn it off. So they have to give that afterwards instead of learning from experience and giving it right from the start of the event.

Same goes for the whole GC. No one asked for it. It's terrible, almost everyone hates it. And instead of owning to their mistake and reverting it, they spend time they then can't spent on doing actual content in order to make it work somehow, instead simply reverting it to the way it was before.

So no, I won't give them credit for fixing things that they broke themselves with things they did intentionally that weren't needed or asked for.

That's like giving a waiter credit for wiping up the drink he spilled himself.

I'll give them credit when they fix actual bugs. Not for trying to make things work no one wanted and they did anyway.

Like when they finally fix the holotraverse/phantom stride bugginess.

Just as an example.

Heh yeah, its actually amazing on how many mistakes they do and they also get away with. I mean, when imagine my job or most jobs, you see people get punished for such things. You anger your customers and also cause your employees to do double time to fix what they messed up.

From a managers point of view this is terrible!! The one in charge of this is not good at his job I would say.

No quality control, no oversight, no long term concept, and much more are the issues of this MMORPG incapable and insanely incompetent organised company. Such a big IP with enormous potential wasted in the hands of a company that hardly could run Pac Man online. This game is so far away from what it could be it's just sad. Nothing that is needed to run it at its deserved level is available at Bioware Austin. There are so many examples for this the list wouldn't fit in here. It all started with being that cheap and ignorant/with lack of foresight to release a game that costed 200+ million in production on a non manufacturer supported beta or even alpha engine, modify it and don't even keep the people who modified it. One other current example was removing data crystals and not making sure all vendors who sold stuff for data crystals sell them for a different currency now or make it otherwise available (Longspur Blaze is out of the game since 5.0 and it is even needed for an achievement). Minimap changes and green aoe circles couldn't point more explicit to their total absence of quality control and a precise and organized working style/attitude. I could go on and on but is it really worth the time?
