Because I follow rotation from top parses. I know there is lucky crits factor there too but my highest so far was 9700 and that is not acceptable.

I did 1 parse on 1.5 million and I got over 10k, wasn't trying to hit big numbers or anything. Full 248's with the 236 augs. Do you have the higher level augments?

 

EDIT: Just did a 2.5 million and got 10.2k, 248 gear (246 armoring/mod in my boots), 236 augs, 1860ish alacrity rest in crit, used armor debuff on dummy and power adrenal twice during fight. The rotation is pretty simple so I'd guess your issue is somewhere in there, your APM looked normal, 47ish is about average for the 1860 alacirty tier.

Ofc. Full 248 and gold augs. What are your stats? Tried 1.5m. Best I can do is consistent 9600 almost every parse. *** am i doing wrong?

Look at this lol apm and abilities he used (mad dash and assault). Yet he hit nearly 11k. Can anyone look at my parses? Is this all lucky crits or what?

 

I swear, my stats must have broke upon transfers. This is frustrating as hell. Back in 2.x I had no problem getting in top 3 of vigi parses. I swear, my character must be broken. >_> Am I using a wrong dummy?

This is a combination of lucky crits and gearing for crit (59% crit rate is very high).

 

I just did another 10k, 47.3 and 48.5 crit rate on my two 10k parses. APM was 46.5 and 46.6.

Looking at your stats, you actually have slightly more mastery/power/crit than I do. Are you not using a power adrenal? That's the only thing I can think of, beyond a rotation issue. Are vengeful slam/scream/impale/shatter all being used on cooldown?

 

EDIT: Figured it out although power adrenal could be effecting you too, but it didn't show you place the armor debuff mod on the dummy. That would give you about 300-500 more dps and put you over 10k most likely.

It simulates ideal combat conditions, where all potential debuffs are placed on the target. You buy it from the same droid that sells the health modifier so it makes sense to apply it.

Yes. It applies the debuffs that would normally be applied by other classes in raid (especially the armor debuff from arsenal and a few other classes).

Luck basically. The perfect parses all have high crit rates. Stuff like good timing on Hew procs, crits on the right abilities (Impale instead of dots for example), relic procs at the right moment, all that stuff. Its not really important unless you're parsing for e-peen.

I mean it depends what your goals are. If your goal is to have the best parse, analyze what the top 10 or so did, and try to emulate them but get luckier. If your goal is to do good enough DPS to raid any content, I think you're probably fine and there's no point continuing to stress about it.

If you are aiming for higher, just continue to parse until you get higher.

The fact that you’re trying to get better is half the battle for rotation muscle memory and getting the most out of your class. Your parse is just fine.

If you’re above that, I see no need to keep kicking yourself over and over trying to get a top spot (I’m not saying pushing one’s self hurts of course). Too much RNG / luck along with a huge time waste.

Yeah, way above that. I was pulling my hair out because I didn't know people are using debuff thing. I had 9600 many times without the armor debuff applied xd

Tried something, rotation was very off and didn't feel good at all (core abilities overlapped each other!) but this is my highest so far.

Noticed that top parses sometimes use odd openers which do cause core abilities to overlap each other later on.

This alacrity **** is irritating for someone that pvps and likes to raid aswell having one set of gear is stupid haveing to change all your augments cuz pvp does not favor the high alacrity build in veng. 2mil each time u swap, I have completely stopped raiding because of this. Running low alacrity is perfectly fine for Jugs in any mode to be honest, so just stick with that and save yourself all that money. Edited May 20, 2018 by Miho
