Same Gender Romances

Will they ever come? With what characters? New or old?

 

It's kind of funny that you could avoid the repetition of this question (by the hundreds as it is by now) if you'd just give us any sort of information - ah well. There's probably going to be another dozen Q&A's in which we can be ignored. Good thing we don't give up.

Character Creation: There were numerous threads during beta that all maxed out the 1k mark about how mundane and actually indifferent the "vast options" were. Why was Bioware so quiet about this and non responsive to the Beta testers asking for Slide bars and more features to personalize. Will there be a change in the way we create characters in the future?

 

Personal side note: This had a huge following of people that were unhappy with the character creation process over the beta testing and it -still- to this day bothers me that it went unanswered // unresponded to during beta. The "mega" character creation thread there consisted of over 25 threads all of 1000+ responses, vastly negative. A personal message from one of you folks would suffice, I know that's asking a lot, but it would ease a customers mind at least.

ONE QUESTION:

Will there be a Character Profile?

(Commentary: A Character Profile for the benefit of role-players. It seems half the mmorpgs cater only to PvP and PvE players, but not to the RP players. To include a Character Profile, should not be a difficult programing task for the developers; this would be a first step in indicating an interest in the RP players as well.)

Are we ever going to be able to use our spaceships and travel in the galaxy? I think alot of people would like to use the Ship on abit of a larger base than just the spacemissions wich are set on a "track" like a train and discover new planets, build stations, Co-ordinate space Operations like when The rebells assaulted the Deathstar in the movie and so on. Companions were a lot more interesting during leveling. Once your in raiding and PVP mode at endgame, companions become just dress-up dolls for the extra gear you have laying around. Any plans on giving us something to use our companions for at endgame?

One thing I have notice during flashpoints, heroics, and regular play while in a party. Sometime you don't get any gear at all while everyone eles does, or gear that is not for anybody in the party. Can the game be program to recognize what class type of party members are in the group, and drop loot according to this?

Hi,

 

Question:

 

What, if any, animation changes can consulars look forward to?

 

Background:

 

It is generally accepted that the Inquisitor animations were done first/best. There is a huge coolness gap with the consular animations, and they feel like they were phoned in/rushed to alot of players. Build after build in beta the same issues with the animations were brought up, but they were not fixed and went live...

 

Project has its delay problems, it takes time to pull up the magic rock, time to levitate and spin it, time to hurl it and travel to target...and it is not popular as a magic junk thrower with many players. Replacement suggestions include a saber throw, or swapping it with the Disturbance animation, which can easily be streamlined to instant cast, and then the chunk a clunker animation can be tied to a skill that has an activation timer, like the animation so obviously needs...

 

Throw is also not popular (pebblestorm) as magic pebble throwing...

 

Together, Project and Throw make the consular jedi caster class feel like a junk/debris throwing shaman that can magically make junk/debris show up anywhere, at his feet or out of thin air. Then you have the obvious problems of pulling up magic rocks out of starship decks, etc. The animations are environmentally ignorant...they cheat. What's worse, for any actual fan of the movies, Sith are the junk throwers. They throw junk 18x (or 6x if you count anakin, but I dont since he was going to the darkside and wasnt exactly the jedi poster boy) more than jedi. Every Sith thrrew objects at targets in the movies. So the jedi caster class is based on a skill that is fundamentally Sith.

 

Then there are the Force Breach ani and Kinetic Ward (which also has mechanic problems and many players would like it to be passive, tied into Combat Technique...)

 

Overall the combat animations and the cinematic nature of combat is one of the game's strengths...perhaps thats why the consular animations stick out so much like a sore thumb. Thx.

Tanking stats (shield, +defense, etc), in their current state, are of very little use in PvP. This has resulted in a large number of tanks opting to select DPS gear for end game PvP.

 

Are there any plans to adjust the tanking stats so as to make them more useful for PvP purposes?

Any idea as to where server xfers are on the priority list? To go further into that question, if that isnt answerable, do you currently have the technology required for it and if not, what needs to be done to get there? Can you delve any into that overall topic? Edited by Paralassa
