What are the brackets in WZ? (ie what are the levels)

Ive tried playing a Scoundrel healer and I am amazed that i have no real fundtional healing at low levels and I dont think I will have much in terms of healing until quite a bit later... do people just not heal at low levels?

There are only two brackets: 10-49 and 50.

Although the bolstering system makes up for stat differences among players in the lower bracket, the lack of abilities and specialization does make it rough to be a lowbie in a warzone.

I thought i was terrible at this game (i probably still am) but I have like NO TOOLS compared to everyone else.

So do most people just not pvp til later?

It really depends on the class, some classes are good early on, others come together at later levels. Scoundrel healers get decent once you get Medpac Mastery from the sawbones tree and very very good once you get Emergent Emergencies

edit oh and imo it's still fun to pvp early, but it's probably best to do damage and some off healing, you have like no energy management tools yet, so if you spam your one heal you'll be out of energy super fast.

if you want a healer that will develop quickly id probably recommend a sage. MAYBE a merc, but mercs blow at 50 so dont bother.

and yea some classes in general (like scoundrel) suck pretty bad no matter how you play them until 30s-40s when the start to dominate.
