My wife and I have been trying to complete the Codex entries on all of the starter worlds, as well as on Dromund Kaas, as wel level up some of our characters. After poking around the forums and developing database sites, we've still been unable to complete at least a few entries on every planet. There are already threads on this forum that go into details on some of the same entries we are missing... but I really wanted to check and see if anyone has been able to complete all Codex entries on ANY of the planets in the game. All comments appreciated, indicating success or the lack thereof. And if incomplete Codex etnries are a known issue, or if the Devs care to confirm that these troublesome entries are actually available ingame somewhere, it would certainly be nice to hear about it from the Bioware team so we know whether we're chasing our tails or just missing some cleverly placed clickable somewhere. I know it's possible that some Codex entries might unlock when revisiting a planet at a higher levels. dakoth Posted December 25, 2011 Share Posted December 25, 2011 (edited) I believe Tython is completable, at least as a Jedi Knight. The only issue appears to be the Terentatek. I'll get back to you on that in a couple days, as I'm duoing with a Knight and we're going for 100% completion on every planet. We have Belsavis and Voss, as well as bonus missions on Hoth, remaining to us. The whole codex is one big mess though. It has great potential for "achievement hunters" out there like myself, but it's squandered by poor management. Sad, really. Galathir Posted December 25, 2011 Author Share Posted December 25, 2011 I'll check when I log in again, but I believe the Terentek was one I couldn't get on my Knight, but I know my wife's Consular was not able to get Satele Shan - despite having been in the counsel chambers with her at the end of the her class quest on Tython. Certainly the apparent bug on Korriban where only level 1 characters can get the Sith Academy entry needs some attention. It would be nice to get some kind of response if that is working as intended or if it's going to be addressed. And if Bioware's intent is that we don't complete any planet's Codex entry until a later return, it would be nice to know that. jmchambers Posted January 3, 2012 Share Posted January 3, 2012 I just tried to unlock the Tython codex using my smuggler char and was only able to get the datacron, map location, and some of the bestiary codex entries. I don't think codex entries for starting planets are completely unlock-able unless your char starts on that planet. For example, I have done a Jedi and was able to unlock the entries for Mangka Cats and Flesh Raiders, but was unable to get them with my smuggler - I think those entries unlock via quests only. Also, my smuggler was unable to take on any quests on Tython, not even the daily Chamber of Speech. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Either titles have been removed and not updated, lore objects are not triggering, or events are not adding things to the codex as they should. Best bet is to simply play the game and go back and complete the codex when bioware gets around to fixing this admittedly not game breaking issue.
