Uninteresting Crafting

The Mission Skills are a welcome change to MMO crafting; however, BioWare seems to have ignored doing anything to the final output.

 

Crafting recipes are boring.

 

The only incentive to crafting is to keep up with the Jones', and your level. "I'm level 30, I need to craft a mod whose stats are useful for someone at level 30."

 

There's little customization. From levels 10-50 the only real customization is choosing a color: red, blue, yellow, green.

 

That's it. Crafted items don't have special conditions, extra abilities, easter egg stats, nothing.

 

It's essentially +(2 + crafting level) to a stat for the entire game.

 

 

 

Does anyone else find this is the case?
