Xartarous
So, quick question here. Am I right in assuming that operatives are similar to rogues in WOW? Do you ever still need to use cover or snipe? I rolled a sniper and am actually liking the class, but I made the 'mistake' of watching an operative in action on YouTube and I must admit it looked pretty bad-*** I'm thinking of re-rolling, but I wanted to get an opinion of how the class is played most of the time. Is it all up in your face, cloaky backstabs and such?
nufanvandal
I never played warcraft, but yes it is very cloak, big damage, and then meh damage to finish off whatever is left. Its enjoyable if you like to be up in things. Playing one in flashpoints can be difficult on occasion because of the medium armor, and some big aoe bosses. Thats my experience anyway. I'd say stick with your sniper if you like it.
Xartarous
Aha, yah that's what i'm thinking. Ahh, so torn lol. Well I think I will try out an OP until 15ish of soo, see if I like it. If not, back to the sniper

If not, back to the sniper Op gets nothing at lvl 15. you're still basically a sniper
blarse
Op gets nothing at lvl 15. you're still basically a sniper The "Rogue" tree for Operatives doesn't really get rolling until you get Hidden Strike at 36 and takes off when you get Acid Blade at 40. Xartarous
Ah, I see. Well I changed my mind again lol. My first flashpoint was so much fun as a sniper that I think I'll just continue on until it gets too boring Thanks for the tips though guys
