This is only going on for a Week? Didn't the Rakghoul Event go on for two weeks? Why is this one shorter?

Well good to see everything is unlokced for everyone...but wow..I don't even have an Agent so ost of the weps are pointless to me, yeah they look cool as hell to equip..but yeah. Hopefully I can get all the Sand Person armor, but with the cost of BM mod transfers I'm still iffy about when I woul even use it...hell I still haven't used my containment gear from the last event.

Oh well, at least BW did a smart thing and allowed everyone to do everything no matter when they started, very glad about that.

No, I think it's a bug. Mine died a few times but got some encouragement of a nice lady on general chat and soon landed safe. Thought I was doing something wrong too.

Anyone know anything about some better rewards? There was a lot of chat about it today, but...?

What is going on withe the final mission of the quest??? I have had several alts die immediately when the speeder lands at the Forgotten Taxi Pad...the last one 4 times in a row so far. Am I missing something about this? This is just frustrating. This event has turned out to be no where near as enjoyable as the Rakghoul event was and I think BioWare really missed the mark all around on this one.

Ditto with this problem. Trying to complete this quest on a second toon. He has intsa died 3 times so far upon landing at the taxi station.

Did you just go off theedge or jumped?

I have completed the missions for all the items. I have nine items in my "Mission Items" tab: the Sphere, the Jar, the Pearl, the Tuning Apparatus, the Utensils, the Mask, the Writings, the Egg, and the Shard.

I have also completed the Dubious Motives mission, and witnessed the Chevin in their meeting at the casino on Nar Shaddaa. Agent Reeho indicated he would get back to me, but I haven't heard anything, have no mail from him, and no quest.

I have the option to turn the items in to the Chevin. I DO NOT have the option to turn in the items to the SIS at the dropbox on the north side of the Lower Promenade, near the Republic taxi.

I am playing a light-side character, and would prefer not to get the dark side points from turning in the items to the Chevin. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, and if so, how did you solve it (if you were able to)? Your help is much appreciated.

I have a problem. I'm on the Ebon Hawk Server, and missing only 1 piece out of the 6 for Vandrayk's item. But unfortunately, people are camping at the smuggling crates to grab the tokens. How am I supposed to get the sixth piece if people are taking the crates before I can get 'em? It takes me a long time to actually find the crates, and then I arrive to find someone camping there? Why do people do this? How can I find the last piece?

One of the better places i've found is in Network Security. There are elevators to 'Upper Office Atrium' and other areas where the main quest does not take you. There's also a Heroic area around the many sub-sections of Network Security which has quite a few crates in there.

I was driving around all these places all by myself when I was looking for my final piece - which took far too many crates to open.

It also helps of course to come back at an odd hour.

I agree people can be idiots. I had to change instances as well as areas before I found an area of Nar Shaddaa that wasn't being farmed or camped just so I could complete that mission.

I had this problem, and on a gamble I reset the quest. It immediately gave me credit for getting all the items and reset it to 'deliver to the chevin or the empire". Hope this helps!

Disappointment

Anyone notice that the Flaxxon boss for the Imperial quest is much easier than the Dresseler boss for the Republic side? Imperial side you click the capacitators and the boss looses his shields and becomes easier whether he is close to them or not. Republic side there are 2 capacitators, not 4, and if the robot is not right on top of it when you click it does nothing. Oh and the Republic side has the robot you have to kill before Dresseler and while you are killing the robot Dresseler is shooting up your pet and is invincible until the robot dies. All my imperial characters could do this quest solo easily, republic side I had to have help. Maybe I am missing something but I don't know why they would make the quest so much harder for the republic side.

For me the exact opposite, I have soloed the republic side easily with 3 characters so far, yet my first go with the Imperial chap is unplayable for me. I asked in New Player for help and someone suggested pulling Flaxxon over to the capacitor first before smashing it, which worked first go but as my health by then was low he defeated me anyway and when I tried again later it was bugged and his shield would not go down at all despite following the same routine.

Irritating.

Rakata Eating Utensils is not in a PVP area, there is really only one PVP area in the game and thats Outlaw's Den. Rakata Eating Utensils is in the Bonus Series Area of Nar Shaddaa. If you have a level 30 toon or higher you can get to it. The Bonus Series for Nar Shaddaa is level 30. Either that or have a higher level toon go with ya. Thats what I did for my level 25 toon.

Ah that would explain the comment then. Since I play only on PVE servers and most folks don't PVP on this server. But if your on a PVP server then yeah it might be difficult to get Rakata Eating Utensils. Of course I would think it would be hard to get the quest to begin with since Promenade would be the same way I would have thought.
