Dalmac
Problem with waves, you allow the power players (that have no life and sit their waiting on preorder release dates) to advance 20lvls before the casual player ever gets on. So when the casual players are trying to level we are getting ganged by the 30+s that we have no chance in heck of defeating. Awesome idea to screw the casual players, and get the power players that much more ahead of the rest of us. That will not kill the game for the casual players. We are 80% of the people that you hope will still play your game one day while getting ganged by these power players. (Some people like PVP but have a job to) Edited December 14, 2011 by Dalmac

HelluvaJedi
Ganking is a fact of life. Deal with it. Players are already chained off from the high levels for the first few planets.

Step 2: Re-freaking-lax Repeat step 2 as needed.
marshalleck
The casuals don't even know early game access started early, so they don't know what they're missing. In other words, there's no problem here.
Razhah
Do you think even if they started at the same time a casual player would keep pace with a powerleveler? You could give the casual player a headstart and they would still fall behind. Nice try though.
Realranger
If only there were these things called pve servers. Then you could casually go about your business and no one would bother you and life would be great.

JohnAntilles
Ok, you obviously didn't play in beta. There is no "ganking" until level 20+ as it is. There is no available open world pvp areas until the 20's, so please stop posting information like this like you have ANY idea of how this game actually plays. Please and thank you. Keysertx
How is this any different than how it will be for the people who don't buy/install/play the game until December 22nd-25th and beyond? Are we going to see pity posts because the people who played the game from the beginning have an "unfair" advantage over new players? life isn't fair; get a helmet. hulgarth
as previously stated the awsner is obvious either deal with ganking and take measures to try and avoid it or if you dont want to deal with it go to a pve server either way not a valid complaint espeialy the idea of 30s ganking you these so called "power levelers" will want to get to cap before they gank anyways. With the exploit power pvpers are already at level 50 and gaining godly amounts of lewt/battlebags. Once Bioware fixes the exploit the new waves of twinks will be ganked long and hard by the people gaining on the exploit now. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=9301&page=56 1) Group of co-ordinated players all queue up for a warzone at the same time and are placed in the same shard. 2) WZ starts and thus is removed from the list so that people still in the queue will be placed in the next available shard. 3) After a brief period of time, a specified number of people drop out, and the rest wait for the shard to close. 4) .....rinse and repeat. 5) Profit. Server population has nothing do to with it, nor would cross-server WZ have anything to do with taking care of the problem. As for catching them.....BW trawls the database for anyone over level 20 after, say 12 hours, and then trawls those characters for activity levels. Believe it....if Turbine could catch the skirmish exploiters with all that buggy programming, BW will get these guys.
hulgarth
I'm casual player; and in first wave having turned in code early. So the ssumption is false. most casual players are casual because they have jobs, they are also the people who can lay down $120 for CE back in July.. The hardcore players were likely playing other games in July and didnt even consider the EGA, most hardcore players wouldnt buy the game based on name back in July they were more likely to wait try beta then pre order so honestly I think if anything its the opposite as the OP but honestly you cant really stereotype any1

If you are gonna argue against something, atleast use sem-valid arguements. OP is not valid anyway: new servers are coming, choose a fresh one with no high lvls or dont play on pvp servers or you do realize even without early access, someone who plays all the time would have eventually out leveled the so called casual one anyway right? kinda regardless of when either of them started so really its an issue for a grand total of 7 days? and one that can be avoided easily with even a hint of common sense? i swear the internet really brings out the gibbering idiots, they just post without thinking first
HazardOOI
As if this wouldn't be the case within a week of any everybody-at-once launch ever? The problem is not the staggered access, it's the mechanics of high levels going to starter zones (assuming you think there is a problem, idc).
