Evilswine
Hey everyone! I wanna give my old gamepad a chance for some lightsaber action, so i got XPadder. Now i'm unsure how to set the buttons for the best gaming experience. Anyone got some good ideas? Thanks Note: This is NOT a "Gamepad: Yes or No" Thread! -Shutterbug-
OK! I discovered the solution to my problem - BOTH have to be set with the compatibility mode of Windows 7, so they can talk to each other!! Set BOTH the SWTOR launcher AND xpaddder to windows 7 compatibility and it will work!!!
thedarkmessiahs
how did you switch it to windows 7 im having the same problem
Adric_the_Red
how did you switch it to windows 7 im having the same problem 1) Right click the SWTOR icon on your desktop, and select "Open file location". 2) Right click on the launcher.exe file and select Properties. 3) Click the Compatibility tab. 4) Check the box labeled "Run in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 7 from the droplist. 5) Click Apply. Double click on the swtor folder, then the retailclient folder. Repeat steps 2 through 5 on the swtor.exe file. And do the same for the xpadder, wherever it's located (probably not in your SWTOR folder).. Edited November 2, 2017 by Adric_the_Red
