Are you leaving planets at the right time. For reference: 32-36 or 37: Taris 37-41: Hoth 41-44 or so: Belsavis 44-47: Voss 47-50: Corellia Make sure you stick around that range for these planets. You can also try speaking with all the different crew skills trainers (if you have not already) that will give you some XP. Its not much, but a little goes a long way if you use it when you can.
