The Damage Ratios I'm only basing on kills, since it's less likely unintended damage (e.g. Mass Affliction) will get mixed in with the data. Once we're able to get a larger sample of data, these will become much more accurate. Feel free to post your own data and I'll add them to the mix. However activating force shroud before the swipe prevented the knockback and I didn't get killed. My guess is that the strong swipe knockback applies somekind of buff/debuff thing that makes the next attack from dismantler against you do a lot of dmg. If you prevent the knokback by using knokback immunity, force shroud etc you will be fine. The log says that the strong swipe applies and debuff called dismantled on you. I'm guessing it's the cause. Also note that I parried the oblitare in this log but still got killed. You can cloak during the knockback but if you get the aggro back and the dismantler hits you it will kill you. KeyboardNinja Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 I didn't upload my kill log on Tyrans or Bestia, but I do have some death logs that I uploaded for analysis during progression to see what CDs made sense where. Oddly, my logs don't include Bestia at all or any trash, and I'm not sure why. Tyrans Affliction - Internal (4882 pre-mitigation; 4 hits) Smash - Kinetic/Force (8587 pre-mitigation; 9 hits) Thundering Blast - Energy/Force (26230 pre-mitigation; 13 hits) Shock - Energy/Weapon (oddly) (4902 pre-mitigation; 96 hits) This wipe was 198 seconds in length. (I *really* wish I had uploaded my kill log) Incidentally, it's worth noting that Shock activates 4 times every time it is used, which is a nice bit of smoothing. Overall DtPS looks like this: Affliction - 98.63 (f/t+i/e) Smash - 390.32 (f/t+k/e) Thundering Blast - 1722.17 (f/t+k/e) Shock - 2376.73 (m/r+k/e) That's a total of 4587.85 pre-mitigation DtPS, at a ratio of 0.5294 :: 0.4706. Note that because these are not kill numbers but progression numbers, things are less accurate than they really should be. It's probably ballpark-accurate, but we need to get some more authoritative answers. Also note that I had to simply remember my current K/E DR, since I don't have my character sheet in front of me and I haven't kept my spreadsheets updated. The importance of this will lessen in 2.5 with the removal of the shadow/assassin self-heals, but it remains significant for guardians/juggernauts. I'm assuming this has to do with Blade Barrier, but I'm not entirely clear on the math to figure out how to optimally use DTPS to figure out the value of Strength and Power (especially in relation to other defensive stats).
