Perringaiden
In response to some questions asked at PAX East regarding Ancient Pylons, it seems that the average player considers the correct method to be "Just click stuff". Thanks to my GM and another officer from Southern Wardens of Harbinger, we worked out the exact sequence, and because I was bored, I wrote up a little app. Simply click the panels till your exact sequence appears and it will tell you which way to click in order to complete the sequence the fastest. For those worried about viruses, the sourcecode is available on GitHub for you to compile https://github.com/perringaiden/Wolflight.AncientPylons/downloads And the sequence chart: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v686/Gishnash/ancient-pylon-buttons.png
Rafkin
I don't know that we used your program but last night one of the pylons started off with one wheel already solved so the solver website the leader used did not list any spins for this wheel. Of course the puzzle wouldn't solve when it came to this wheel so we were screwed.
