Recently hit level 50 and have about 20 champ commendations now, and was just wondering what the best Champion / Mercenary gear is for Arsenal Mercs?

 

Cant remember gear names but I seem to remember a set of gear that had healer in the name was giving best Aim - whats the best gear for Mercs?

 

Also would it change if I respecced to Pyro Merc?

I can't answer exactly but I can say to check the set bonuses, that should tell you all you need to know for who its meant for. For example, the combat medic gear has set bonuses to reduce cd times on HS and ES - no use to an arsenal merc.

Eliminator set for aresnal mercs. I removed the enhancer slot and stuck in end/power/crit/surge combos to even out my stats.

 

A good balance is around 300 crit/surge and as much power as you can stack. Now that they nerfed surge that number can come down a bit to around 220 or so....it's up to you.

 

I spent a lot of time inbetween WZ on ilum killing mobs and testing out which combos give me the most dps.

 

I use the power adrenal as well...since power has no cap or DR. I get regular 3.5k crits with tm.

 

Once you get all cent/champ gear start buying cent gear from other vendors to remove the enhancer slot to replace those you don't want.
