After 5.4 they are at a 20-30m distance from a character. It was used to be right before character. The effects should at least emit out from the gun. Having the Surge abilities emit out of the forearm like it's Imperial counterpart Bounty Hunter would be optimal. The surge just starts before you're done pushing with the buttons because of responsiveness. It used to delay until after the animation, until about 1.2 I think, when they made those animations more responsive. What do you mean emitting from the gun?
