SO i recently obtained enough daily comms for the trinket...

 

curious as to which one to get.. does the damage type the trinkets do even matter?

or is it better to just go stick with the war hero one as it gives more + power?

I've been waiting for someone to bring this up. I beleive the relics that made it into live are better than the war hero ones. war hero has endurance, expertise and power but the new pve ones have endurance, power and the on proc or on use abilities. I think the pve ones offically edge out the pvp ones for bis in pve.

Have had this discussion with a few people on my server and the general consensus is that the new Dread Guard Relics are still inferior to the PvP straight pwr ones. Yes the new ones do give you some base pwr bonuses but the proc rate is still fairly low and the dmg per proc is fairly insignificant even though they are internal/elemental and by pass armor/defense ratings. So far everyone I know still uses matrix cube paired with a battlemaster/war leader relic or double PvP relics.

Really? That seems so odd since the new power relic has 47 power and 350 on use for 30 seconds every 2 min. Thats 1/4 the time or. 25, equalling out to 87.5 power per second plus the 47 passive power, making that 134.5 power per second ub augmented compared to the war heros 113 unaugmented. Since augmenting them both would keep the ratio the same, that margin never changes. Expertise has no benifits for pve. Factoring in LugunaD example on scaling effects with adrenals and inspiration, these relics should easily out shine war heros for pve. Even the math breakdown on the proc relics show they where only marginally behind the war heros. Giving them the highier proc damage and now passive power, for pve where uptime and buff stacking is taken into effect, I can't see for the life of me why these aren't better for pve ops then the war heros.....
