Hello one and all! This is Wisteria, one of the recruits that is looking to find your favor. ;)

I have enjoyed the time that I have gotten to answer your questions, please keep them coming! The process has been great and it all came together this weekend on TOR for me. I enjoyed the TS I was involved in and even got a few invaluable tips, that have paid off and left me not so frustrated with crafting! Thanks everyone!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

The Republic is in trouble, not least because the player known as CINERATOR has landed on the planet TYTHON. An absolute and utter terror, his temper tantrums are the bane of an entire species called the FLESH RAIDERS. The JEDI ORDER is in chaos, unable to contain his greatness.

But a new entity has stepped forth from the shadows. The guild known as PAX GAMING, dedicated to containing such problem gamers as CINERATOR, issued a challenge he could not resist. Join their organization or be annihilated. But not really. Because they're a cool guild, and cool guilds don't threaten people like that.

So CINERATOR applied to join PAX DOMINUS, the Republic side of PAX GAMING. He's toyed with the idea of falling to the Dark Side and joining PAX IMPERIUS, but he's having too much fun with his Jedi Sentinel. Because two lightsabers are better than anything else. And PAX GAMING is better than anything other than two lightsabers. The Galaxy may never be the same...

The Pax Gaming community is definitely one guild anyone with a drive to explore every element of a gaming universe should consider. although my time here has been short and im not technically a member, watching the day to day activities and conversations on the website and on Dominus Division TOR has shown me what an interesting, involved, and just plain fun Guild Pax can be. The application process has felt more like a meet and greet social than anything else. Pax simply sits back and lets their most valuable assets show you what a good bunch of guys they are. long story short, spend some time with the Pax community, the players will show you what the guild is like, and i for one have yet to be disappointed.

Hello I am currently in the application process and was asked to come here and give my opinions. Honestly from what Ive seen the PAX community is great. I was a bit stand offish at first due to their size, having been part of large guilds and communities before it never ended well. But from my interactions so far they seem like a great bunch of people and can't wait to meet more of them. The Charter is simple and straight to the point without being elitist or filling it with outrageous off the wall rules. The community is built for you to get to know all of PAX not just the people you play certain games with making them an extremely social and co-operative group and I would highly suggest anyone thinking of applying to go out and do it and experience what Im talking about first hand.

I was asked to post my feedback on the recruitment process, so here it is.

Overall, it has been a good process. It's been very nice to meet the people posting on my application and quite fun to answer the questions on my application. The only tricky part has been providing adequate, appropriate answers to questions, even those which are just a "Pick one of these". It wouldn't be any fun to read if you just answered the explicit question, so writing up reasoning takes a little bit. So far, I have enjoyed the process and I don't really have any suggestions.

I was asked to come here and give my experiences on the recruitment process. First off I'd like to say that the guys in this guild are great. They are a big guild without the "Big Guild" feel. Even as a recruit you feel like your opinion matters. The people in the guild are very helpful with no ego's to get in the way. The two week forum interrogation is kinda of intimidating but well worth the time to enter this guild.

As with others, I have been asked to give a two week impression of my time in the Pax Gaming Community thus far.

I have been having a good time with these people. The Imp and Pub guilds are active, the players are friendly, drama seems to be completely non existent, and there are many other games to branch into should you enjoy your initial experience here. I find the the Republic side to be very focused on questing and leveling at the moment, and the empire side has more Operation groups and PvP happening at any given time. Just depends on your gaming style.

As above, I've been going through the recruitment process. I love the people in this guild, and while the recruitment can be taxing, it's worth it. People are very active over all manner of play-styles, so you always have someone to group up with.

To whomever may read this,

First things first :rak_02: cause seriously that is an awesome "smiliey".

After a brief conversation with an officer I was given a link to the website to apply on and an invite into the guild. I will admit at first I was put off by the application process as I was I thought "just looking for a guild to have some people around". Not having anything better to do at the time I took the time to actually read the charter and various other pages that was requested of me and decided I would like to be a part of a community that spanned any game I could potentially want to play. Finding a good group of people is hard, and doing it over and over gets old real fast.

I have found that Pax has been worth all the time invested and more to come. Not even a fully vetted member yet and I feel at home and welcome.

Like many others I have been asked to come here and put forth my thoughts on the guild...in wordy fashion.

I've only really been with the guild for a week and a half so it's not really in my nature to give them a glowing endorsement and say they are the best thing since sliced bread. I can in all honesty say I have no complaints. There always seems to be something going on, but there is no pressure to really take part if you feel like going it solo for a while. It's nice to have the choice.

The people within the guild have been very friendly and when I encounter another guild member in the world it tends to end in a group up experience. There are knowledgeable and friendly people within the guild and I've yet to see any sign of drama (a huge plus in my book).

The Empire side of things tends to have a lot more people while the Republic has fewer, but still has enough going on. Those afraid of large guilds or multi-game guilds shouldn't really worry about Pax from what i've seen so far. They are well organized and have a pretty thorough charter which is kept to, unlike many other guilds. Plus, you will have people to meet up with in other games you try/play.

Last, but not least, the "initiation" within the guild is different than many others with guild members asking you questions in your recruitment thread. I've found this part to be quite enjoyable and in some cases thought provoking. It's been quite fun so far.

Unlike Melanthris, I am not one for words so mine will be nice and brief. I have been asked to share my thoughts on the guild. I am a late night player, usually from around 1130 pm to around 0130 am. And even then there are people on, which is great. The guys are really cool and helpful, I am a returning player and these guys have been able to answer all of my questions that I have had. I look forward to leveling up and being able to take part in some of the end game with the guys.

I'm currently a new recruit for this pretty awesome guild. Some points in their favor:

1. Guild chat is not out of control! Too many times guild chat gets just as bad as General chat on Dromund Kass. Instead, it's polite, tame and fun.

2. There's always someone around to do stuff with. I've grouped a few times with others in this guild and have found they are quite fun.

3. The application process, which helps both parties get to know each other, is actually quite fun.

If you're looking for a nice, polite guild filled with nice, polite and fun people this is the place!

The Pax community is a very friendly community. Members are more than willing to help new recurits integrate into the community with ease. I actually like the questions portion of the app. process. It shows that there is other people out there and not just a user at the end of the keyboard.

I'm currently in the application process for Pax, and I've got to say, this is far different than I expected. However, different isn't always a negative thing. I think how they handle their recruiting speaks volumes about their character.

I can not speak for how the guild handles itself from the inside, as I'm not yet a member, but I can say that this guild has reached out to me since my application. They are really trying to get to know me, and I them.

From what I have experienced prior to applying, they play this game with honor and overall positive outlooks.

Even if I don't make it into Pax, I strongly encourage people who truly ENJOY playing this game, to look into applying. You won't be disappointed.

As a player who spent over a year as a Paxian, both as a member and an officer. As a player who took time out of the guild to See What the world of competitive PVP has to offer, I can say without a doubt, that Pax was and always will be my home.

The level of skill in our players and degree of sportsmanship they conduct themselves with is almost unprecedented. This is an eclectic group, home to casual queuers, dedicated PVPrs and CareBears alike. What ever it is your looking for, I strongly urge you to at least log into our TeamSpeak and BS with us for a bit. Im certain you will find a comfortable atmosphere, where you are encouraged and supported without feeling pressured to preform. (Unless your on the Progression or Ranked team, Then you should know what your getting into. lol)

As a player who is currently being recruited by Pax i have come here to share some of my feelings on the guild. The first in for most to me it is an all for one guild, and what i mean by that is i feel that the members are there to serve the guild and not the other way around, honestly to me this is a negative but i have to say that i feel that the positives outweigh them. Now for the positives as many have said they are a big guild without having the big guild feel about them everyone that i have met and talked to same to really want to get to know me. It is also a plus because that means there is always someone around to do stuff with. Along with that they have people that specialize in all aspects of the game which is nice as i can pick and choose what i want to do. Overall while there are a few negatives i feel that the positive far outweighs them.

I really do like the cross-gaming setup that Pax has. When one game seems to die off, the majority of the players can easily move on to the next one without losing guildies/friends. The people here immediately accepted me as a friendly newcomer and not a "FNG". The people here are mature and there has not been any drama in the guild that I've seen at all. This looks to be a great community and I hope to be here a long time with them!

I agree. This community is awesome, and the recruitment process is painless.

Just wanted to stop by and mention my experience thus far with the Pax crowd.

On PD side, they have been so very helpful and patient, not to mention there seems to be a great sense of humor all around (or they just pretend to laugh at my jokes, which I'll take still). HOping to have a long, lasting relationship with these folk... or I'll just end up being that weird friend that's always stalking behind *even giggle*.

*cough*

I spent years playing WoW, and after the last expansion was announced I quit. The thing I miss most from that experience is the family/friends I found/made in my guild over the years I was in. The FIRST thing that stood out to me about Pax is the fact you take your people with you. Whether your flying the stars in a Federation Escort or smashing faces with a Lightsaber. The same people are your wingmen, can't ask for a better gaming crew than that. Pax Gaming Community is a new kind of guild/fleet/clan. These guys (and gals) are by your side from one world to the next. Happy to share knowledge and show someone the ropes. I'm glad I app'd.

I also, am currently in the application process with Pax Imperius, and I have to say it's one of the most interesting application processes I have gone through lol! It's been a lot of fun though, and I am enjoying the little "missions" being assigned to me. Such a great bunch of people!!

I am currently a recruit on the empire side, found so far to be enjoying myself playing with my wife. We are lower levels and most everyone is 55 so getting people to do the 4 mans with in the lower levels hasn't happened yet. When I log on and say hi I always get at least 1 hi back, I am sure once I get up in levels I will be able to be more a part of what everyone is doing.
