Bug on Hardmode Kephess Fight

Tonight during our raid on HM Warlord Kephess we experienced a bug where we would kill the bombadier, and then after the player with the mark on their head proceeded to take down the walker, a second bombadier unit would spawn and kill our healers. Has anyone else had this issue?

This was in 8 man Hardmode Denova

Also we were extricating the person down from the boss after he had gone up to the top.

Not a bug. There is a timer for the bombers to spawn, if you dont have the walker dead before that timer you will get a 4th bomber, should have a tank pick it up real quick if it continues to be an issue, or have your dps burn the walker/last bomber quicker.

It's a overlap in mechanics, you were too close to not killing the bomber. The game thought you did not kill it in time so it spawned another one, even though you did kill it. You will need a little bit more dps to prevent this or ask bioware to alter the timing by 2/3 seconds.

If it happens again, you can either have a tank taunt the bomber away and leave him, or just use one of the minute long CCs on him until he blows himself up. Now that your group knows that it is possible for this to happen, you should be better prepared to handle it the next time if it occurs again.

My guild had this problem with Storymode the other night. We had a new guildie that didn't quite understand the fight and got the bomb, went to the walker, got killed mid flight. The walker went down but bomber after bomber would spawn and wouldn't stop because we couldn't get the walker to stand up so we could do it again.

 

It is probably cuz the game thinks we didn't do it when we did, which is ok, sometimes it happens. Could use a fix though.
