Avison Posted December 28, 2011 Share Posted December 28, 2011 So augment slots are only available on crit crafted gear. You can't crit craft orange gear... so correct me if I'm wrong... Doesn't the whole mod/armor crafting market conflict with eachother? Synthweaving can only make proc'd purples with an extra slot for augments.. but you can't put regular mods/armor/enhancements in it, correct? Samboni Posted December 28, 2011 Share Posted December 28, 2011 I believe the answer is no, either you can't crit on orange gear or it just doesn't add the augment slot. There really is zero market for augments right now. That may change at max level, if purple gear turns out to be superior to orange gear-- but that would render all the crafted mods/enhancements/armor/barrels/etc useless, so it seems unlikely.
