Darthshnooky Posted January 25, 2012 Share Posted January 25, 2012 Augmentation slots occur when you get a critical success while crafting gear. So you might be making a green belt with 10 str and 10 end. There's a chance that your companion can crit while making it, which produces the same belt, still with 10 str and 10 end, but it now has an augmentation slot as a bonus. This basically gives you a free slot to put more stats on the item. Augmentations are acquired through Slicing missions. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
