Technohic Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) MMOs tend to have high inflation due to the currency literally being pulled out of thin air. The value of a single unit drops each time more credits come into the virtual world. One thing that is done to combat that, is to do what people call credit sinks. It simply is just charging for a feature to take that money out of the world. Biggest one might be repair bills and consumables rather than abilities. The tax on GTN is just a small one.
