No it is a Mandalorian helmet that he found at the site of a battle(little bit more to it than that, but that is a quick summation).

If we go by the Knights of the Old Republic comics by John Jackson Miller ( featuring the incomparable Zayne Carrick ), Revan got his mask off the dead body of a random Mandalorian, after coming too late to prevent the massacre of Cathar. That random Mandalorian apparently was someone who had been executed by the other Mandalorians because she refused to participate in the massacre and Revan took up the mask in her honor.

It really makes no since....

 

 

In your higher lvls, yuo do a flashpoint in the imperial side where you kill revan....and he puts on his mask before the fight.....yet on droomund kaas you acquire his mask...kinda confusing.

I find it funny how everyone was all like "No way man, they would never put his mask in the Cartel Market." It seems that they couldn't have been more wrong, and it's in a pack, of all places.

And that mask is supposed to be a replica, explained in the item's description. Which makes perfect sense when you think about it. You can buy a replica of a famous football player's shirt and masks with the likeness of famous political leaders. In the Star Wars universe, I'd assume the same goes for famous people's attire.
