GAF (Gaming Age Forum, at least officially) is recruiting good republic players of all levels and classes to join the ranks! Our ops groups are somewhat in flux right now after some leadership changes, but we're working on rebuilding two to three solid (at least HM, likely NM level) fixed groups, and are open to players starting new groups or single runs at any time. We do still have a shared chat channel with Legendary Guild and other friends for more opportunities. We've also been known to take on some more creative challenges - we've two-manned Toth & Zorn, done several rounds of EV/KP with about 4 people, and even run EV and KP with no armor! Some of our members do run PVP, but we are a PVE focused guild.

 

We have no gear requirements - that's the easy part to get - though we do more run HM ops. What we're looking for is talent (and an openness to parse, learn, and improve) with a positive attitude (of course complaining is allowed, extreme negativity, rudeness, and elitism is not). F2P and lack of expansion are both okay, though we admit you'll have less to do. You'll still benefit from our 10% rep and xp boosts, plus good company and people who can guide you through the tough stuff. We also are open to taking in smaller guilds - just let us know and we'd love to talk to you!

Our Tuesday and Thursday sign up runs have progressed into TFB HM and SV HM. We usually have some open spots there if there is anyone looking for a casual not forced to commit type of run.

 

We have cleared TFB HM and SV HM (on farm), TC 8 man and 16 man HM. We are currently working on TFB NM and have progressed to the dread guard fight.

 

We also have many members who are leveling up alts who are always looking for additional people to run with.

Thanks to new friends and some alt leveling we're back to being pretty balanced out again. Still would love more of all classes though!

ISO competent 55 tanks for sign-ups... no pressure to always be there, but able to run HM ops 2x weekly if you want ^_^ Of course all classes and levels still welcome.

Figured I'd answer the most frequent questions I get:

 

1) No, there aren't fixed raid spots open right now. That always has potential to change, and those who have proven themselves on sign-up runs are most likely to be considered for obvious reasons, or asked to fill in for a week when real life stuff happens for a regular.

2) Yes, you'll absolutely still get to raid. That's what sign-ups are for, and those with set ops groups will step out for those without. The sign-ups are still getting the HM ops down.

3) If those days (for sign-ups) don't work for you, you're more than welcome to start your own events through the calendar and/or Facebook.

4) Yes, you can bring just one toon to GAF so you can raid with us but leave others in your old guild with friends (or whatever reason you have for dual guilding, no worries).
