If done properly, this could be a new way for the developers to have more an interactive conversation with players on key issues. Of course, it could backfire if the developers just cherry pick "safe" questions. I'm hoping that this will be an indication of a better, more open development process.

So if its done correctly? I wonder...... There are more correct questions asked that needs answeres, than the opposite.

MY question though is this, If im a share holder, and want to ask questions during this "Event" ( do i need tickets to this EVENT?) I would want to know the answer... It seems that it will be the only way to ensure we get the info...

Been as i did buy a bunch of shares.... I think this does entitle me to ask and demand and recieve a true answer.

Been as my money is far more now that just expensive covering.

You see the funny thing was is a player bought shares from a bigger MMO company and when they did this live stream thing they refused to answer his questions, in turn he got them fired ..... Who knows how much truth there is to it but i find it funny that when you own stock how these companies give info more freely...

I recently posted a topic within the PvP forums titled "Open World PvP - Saving WPvP from its death." Just a few days ago this topic was deleted, including a similar topic called "Sith in Anchorhead Bastion server."

Both these topics described Open World PvP scenarios where Imperial characters successfuly bipassed the exhaustions zone in Anchorhead, and were able to get in and start attacking Repubs.

My first question, is why were these deleted? Yes these forum topics may have leaked information about bad design flaws, i.e. Imperial's being able to get past the exhaustion zones; but really, this caused great open pvp that many people enjoyed!

I would like to see both exhaustion zones taken out of Mos Ila and Anchorhead, and replaced with mine fields. With these mine fields in place, the only way an opposing faction could enter the city, would be for them to scan the area for mines. After successfuly scanning and maneuvering through the mine field, opposing faction players would then have to control sentry turrets through out the cities. These turrets would then attack enemies for whom ever team captured it. It would do minimal damage, and instead of being a dominating force on the battle ground, it would be shooting at NPC's that would try to bring the turrets health down, or at players running by. This would create a nuisance that would encourage players to re-capture the turrets, therfore creating World PvP.

As an extended nuisance, these sentry turrets could be re-programmed to shoot buildings that could supply anti-turret weaponry, like the missles used on Ilum to destroy the ground walkers. Many things could be done.

As a loyal player, this would be awesome to see, and I definetley encourage people to read this post and share it.

Personal Question:

- General Information on how Loot Tables work (In Particular:- Any Chance at all of Black Talon / Esseles Loot tables being fixed ? or allowing Armor drops to be purchased with commendations?)

General Questions:

- Dual Specc when is it coming?

- Expanded Story Content any timeline or expected date?

- Open World PvP would be nice :)

If im not mistaken their idea here is to answer only questions about Terror From Beyond that is currently on the PTS that will probably be coming live next week. All the other questions will probably be taken for another broadcast, Least that's what I got from reading their post.

The first LiveStream Event will discuss Game Update 1.4 – Terror From Beyond. This Game Update brings a brand new Operation, enhanced customization options, and expanded social features to The Old Republic.

Question: With the introduction of Cathar soon to be out the way will we be seeing more species and more interesting species at that?

Comment: Cathar come off as fairground face painted humans where the person asked to be a tiger grrrr. Now that is done can we hope to see more interesting and more alien species added to the game. This has been asked for pre-beta, beta, pre-launch, Launch and post launch. Now 10 months down the line we may see the first crack at this and it falls short of the sort of species or races offered by many other MMO's. Do the devs just not care or unable to add additional species?

Question: What is being added to the game that isn't designed for 8 man end game?

Comment: It seems of late the only content added to the game is for 8 man groups. Where is the open world content or for solo, 2+ or 4 man content? Other than gear grinding Ops it doesn't seem to add much to the wider game and hardly worth a 4 month draught to get one 8 man experience.

Question: Now we can match colours and hide head gear are there any plans for further customisation of Companions such as appearance or role.

Comment: It would be nice to be able to use which companion we want and not which one is the healer etc and likewise have more choice on looks than 5 or 6 premade choices where as little as colour and headband are changed.

Question: What is the design behind the Space combat and the new missions being introduced?

Comment: For people interested in space combat they will likely have fully outfitted ships and all the com gear. So will we see the next tier of gear or black hole/dread master gear from space combat or is the reward the challenge of flying harder space missions?

Question: There was talk of Legendary weapons being added to the game could you build on this?

Comment: While likely directed to force users who build their own sabers anyone can have a gun they name and love. It would be nice to build your own Lightsaber/weapon picking look and it being considered legendary and named for the character or legacy. Rather than using a lightsaber/weapon named for another long dead sith or jedi or random noun.

Question: There is mention of Social elements of the game in the coming patch, will this include chat bubbles or other elements to encourage socialising.

Comment: Being a themepark game there seems to be very very few socialising options for the game, few people hang out in cantinas or infact do much other than grind. Is there any plans to encourage socialising outside of group finder and running ops?

Question: We were once told that the design team do not feel multiple heroes beating on a single boss is very heroic. So far this seems the case in most ops and flash points, infact the design encourages avoiding 'trash mobs' and killing the bosses to get the gear. Is this by design or by mistake and how much has the design philiosophy changed since this early comment was made?

Comment: The statement seems to be fairly accurate, bigger and bigger mobs to beat on isn't very heroic. Infact it often the case that my uber sith or Jedi (the later who can kill the supreme power in the galaxy with nothing but a droid) needs 7 buddies to fight a rancor, beast or hutt in a driod. Yet this is how the game has gone, as heroic moments not so much the hutt is the heroic one. He faces off against a group all alone.

My question is: With the introduction of new features and more quality of life features hitting the game, will we ever see a Hood Up/Down Option for Jedi/Sith Character Classes for the chest pieces that have hoods-up only versions of that armor? An example of one chest piece is the Mindful Guardian Elite Body Armor. A lot of players really want this but instead we get Facial Moods... :/ Edited by Luckyguyangelo

How did you decide on the itemization for gear drops in TFB HM? For many classes the itemization looks really poor (example Sentinels can only get a good power mod through one piece of gear or through a Guardian pants). This is also exacerbated by only one piece of Dreadmaster gear dropping per boss which is going to make it take a very long time to itemize gear, any chance at increasing loot drops to two per HM TFB boss fight?

And yes EC Nightmare will speed up gear, but it is not releasing yet.

Really, only 30 minutes...that is basically enough time for introductions..

1. I understand that new tier of gear will be coming out with 1.4. Will the new gear follow suite as Black Hole where only purchased with comms? If so, will those that spent hours and hours gear grinding for Black Hole gear get any credit toward the new gear? Possibly a trade plus 10 new gear comms vs having to start from scratch.

2. How many hours are added to personal story line?

3. Will there be any additional to companion(s) story line?

4. Will Sub accounts be able to mail items / credits to F2P accounts and vise versa?

5. I noticed BW is now down to only 8 US servers. How will this affect lag and server load when F2P hits? Will Subs have priority in Que times?

6. Will Subs have priority to group finder Que's?

You're almost certainly right. However, I think there is a disconnect between what the community wants answers to, and the questions they want to answer.

Simply because you can't discuss in the public forums about any flaw in the game that could lead to an exploit (as in that thread, as you just admitted) and you can't discuss about forums moderations (as you are doing now asking why are they deleted).

Your only option is to send an email to communitysupport@swtor.com asking what you need to know.
