I am a jedi guardian level 17 and I have not jet found a jedi robe to buy. Right now I look silly, but I want the typical jedi look:) Anyone know where to find it? Edited June 13, 2012 by susort

"standard" jedi robes are hard to find at lower levels for medium and heavy gear users, only set i know of that looks good at that level is the orange set from the legacy vendors on coruscant, problem is, the whole set is about 800k,

 

if your just after the chest and legs however i think you need at least 400k credits, which IF YOU have a main is a days worth of dailies

I have found a chest armor for level 16 but it say I can't afford it. When I hold the mouse over the armor there is a little red icon, but I can't see what it is :/ Any idea what it can be?

And if they are legacy gear and the orange ones you need to be legacy level 10 or 20 depending on which one you want.

I suggest you check the auction house for mod-able heavy armor, even for higher levels.

Additional, you can check standard heavy armor vendors on the different planets (usually at the starting area), sometimes they sell instead of a white item a mod-able chest, or check the commendation vendors, they often sell mod-able armor pieces.

Also HC2/4 Quests sometimes give mod-able equipment as reward.

Perhaps also just roam the republic fleet/station, and look at the equipment from other players. If you find a player using a nice chest piece you would like to use, then inspect him, and check for the item in the chest slot. Then google the item's name e.g. http://www.torhead.com, and see where you can obtain it.

 

I hope they will add a remove/show hood toggle, some of the jedi knight armor pieces look nice, if they won't have the hood showing...

I know of 2 robes (orange mod-able item) you can get on coruscant as quest rewards:

There are robes yes but there is not 1 iconic jedi robe/outfit in this game sadly.If you want to look like they do in the movies like most of us that is not possible.And the really sad thing is one can not take down the dumb looking hoods on any of them.

Thats the closest thing you will come to a iconic Jedi outfit in this game.

Maybe they will actually give us star wars outfits in the near future(we can dream)

Various bosses in the Hammer Station flashpoint drop orange robes, for Guardian probably the one you want to see is the Warbringers Body Armor that drops off the last boss, Battlelord Kreshan. It is a tough fight if your healer and DPS are not prepared for the mechanics of the fight, but the same can be said for a lot of the flashpoints

 

Aside from that, there are several missions on Coruscant that will drop orange Heavy Armor robes for Guardian - most are some variant of brown, or if you want something a little different, there is a grey/dary grey robe as a quest reward from the 4-man heroic Trouble In Deed in the Justicar Sector.

 

The Galactic Trade Network will also have some robes of various quality, I am suer you can find something on there that will give you a look you are happy with.
