themarcthree
I have been looking for a while for up to date dps rankings for PvE and haven't found any. If anyone knows where I can find current rankings or the actual rankings please let me know (preferably in empire specs). I keep hearing fury mara is at the top and deception sin is in the top 5 and that some classes are better than others, it made me curious as to which classes are better than others. Not really interested in the actual numbers unless its between madness sorc and lightning sorc, but won't care if rankings include them. (not looking for the parsley link that keeps popping up for pvp) Any help is appreciated and welcome!
CMoray
Parsely is related to Dummy Parsing and PvE content. So Parsely is relevant if you want a ranking by top dummy parses. And I don't know a better ranking atm.

LordTurin
i guess i've only found the pvp ones then only problem i have with the site now is that i dont understand much on it Not sure what you mean by the pvp ones, but that link that the previous poster gave you gives you the information you want. Click on Max/Average to sort it by that column, and off to the left will be the spec it refers to. So, if you sort by max for 2.5 million (the "standard" parse, as that's approximately how much damage each dps would have to do for most ops bosses) you get a list like this: Plasmatech / Pyrotech Concentration / Fury Ruffian / Lethality Watchman / Annihilation Dirty Fighting / Virulence Vigilance / Vengeance Tactics / Advanced Prototype Infiltration / Deception Serenity / Hatred Scrapper / Concealment Assault Specialist / Innovative Ordnance Focus / Rage Saboteur / Engineering Combat / Carnage Balance / Madness Telekinetics / Lightning Gunnery / Arsenal Sharpshooter / Marksmanship If you sort by average for 2.5 million, you get a list like this: Concentration / Fury Vigilance / Vengeance Watchman / Annihilation Ruffian / Lethality Dirty Fighting / Virulence Plasmatech / Pyrotech Serenity / Hatred Focus / Rage Combat / Carnage Tactics / Advanced Prototype Infiltration / Deception Saboteur / Engineering Assault Specialist / Innovative Ordnance Scrapper / Concealment Balance / Madness Telekinetics / Lightning Sharpshooter / Marksmanship Gunnery / Arsenal So that is a pretty good indicator of where each one falls in terms of "potential" dps. However, the thing to remember is that that is on a stand alone dummy. In an ops fight, things can be very different. So if you are new, you may want to try one of the classes that is easier (Arsenal, Marksman, and Lightning). Even though they are bottom DPS, they are easy to get good at to a point to clear almost all content in the game, and then if you want to get serious, you can look at another class/spec. And I don't know a better ranking atm. Parsely automatically gather op stats for its ratings which paints a very good picture of practical, live combat ratings across classes. Scoundrel dps seems to be easiest to learn, as its 75% percentaile is a head above all others with a 95% that is close to 99%, but has the least number of plays. (Sample size is still good at 220k+ though) Sage is almost the exact reverse: most players find it hard to climb the dps ladder which already starts lower than the other classes, and the wide gap between 95 and 99 shows it is very hard to master, but sample size says it has curiously high number of players. We also have parsely's ops leaderboard which has less samples (public or private), but allow us to dive into the detailed log. For example, while some believe us Balance Sages (Madness Sorcs) have a dps advantage when we can DoTs multiple bosses, real combat logs says it is not enough to lift us from the bottom of dps pit even when we can pull it off.
