Darth Plageus - Anakin's father?

The answer to this is in the movie Revenge of the Sith. Palpatine is the father, just not by conventional means.

You have to be open to the story of Darth Plagueis and listen during the opera scene where Palpatine/Sidious basically spells out the truth while attempting to seduce young Skywalker to the Dark Side.

PALPATINE: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis "the wise"?

ANAKIN: No.

PALPATINE: I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create......life.

He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying.

You'll notice at this point that, partly thanks to the masterful acting done by Sir Ian McDiarmid, Palpatine slyly implies that someone, be it Plagueis or Sidious, manipulated the midi-chlorians and created Anakin.

ANAKIN: He could actually save people from death?

PALPATINE: The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

ANAKIN: What happened to him?

PALPATINE: He became so powerful . . . the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. (smirks as if personally relishing the moment) . Ironic....he could save others from death, but not himself.

Now, we have Sidious admitting that he was taught everything Plagueis knew, including how to manipulate the midichlorians. If you'll also look, Anakin's hairstyle is starting to look very similar to Palpatine's, except for the color obviously. That was not just a coincidence by the hairstylists.

ANAKIN: Is it possible to learn this power?

PALPATINE: Not from a Jedi.

If you don't believe me, see it

Actually I am reading the Darth Plaguias book and according the the author.

Palps was also conceived by the force because his father said. "you werent my son"

So did the darkside of the force coceive 2 children through the method described in Episode 1?

He also had him tested because he didn't believe that he was his son. Turned out he was the father.

Doesn't matter. As long as it doesn't conflict. When it does, that's when you use the tiers of canon to determine what takes precedence.

For many, G-Canon, or George Lucas Canon, is the ONLY thing that mattered. Everything else, EU, Games, etc., was considered to not be part of the acknowledged chronology in the Star Wars universe.

From page 32, Star Wars: The New Essential Guide to Chronology, Droids, Alien Species -

"On Tatooine, the slave Shmi Skywalker had given birth to a child more powerful in the Force than any other in history - the apparent product of forbidden research initiated by Darth Plagueis and taken up by Darth Sidious."

Not exactly. While Palpatine viewed Anakin as the work of Plagueis, Plaguis himself portrayed Anakin as an incarnation of the will of the force - by attempting to tip its balance along with Sidious, force gave birth to a being that would consequently restore the said balance thus ironically Plagueis was the one responsible for fulfilling the prophecy of the Chosen one.
