Keeping track of boss kills is awful as-is. Having guilds compete with a voluntary opt-in to post crap on a spreadsheet is as rudimentary as it gets. We might as well be scribbling ranks on a legal pad with a crayon. Are we ever going to get an API from people who tout their end-game as "nightmare" content (with, hilariously, no way to track progress on this "nightmare" content) or are we going to be stuck in the dark ages forever?

As an end-game raider, this is seriously disheartening.

3rd party mods are either trivial or compulsory.

If they are trivial then why bother.

If they are compulsory its because they give you an advantage over someone playing the plain game.

Allowing automation by addons is poisonous.
