DeeTee Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 It should run, but you will probably have to turn the settings down to low. It's only dual core, and the game seems to want a quad. The graphics card also isn't stunning. It's going to struggle a little, and I wouldn't be happy recommending it to someone specifically for playing the game. I strongly suspect that the GT230M will really struggle. The GT v GTX part makes a world of difference. If you are in the USA, http://www.newegg.com are selling refurbished gaming laptops for good prices, if you are on a tight budget. My G53 arrived with no issues and in perfect condition. It overclocks sweet and I was surprised at its performance compared to my O/Ced custom SLI Gaming desktop. I think I paid about $500, no tax and shipping was real cheap. The GPU is not great for gaming. The Geforce GT 230M in that thing is a 48 stream processor chip with 128 bit DDR3 which is about the same performance you can expect from a 9600 GSO desktop GPU.
