Zachajariah
Why do I not have access while I'm currently logged in, to view my own threads I've started and threads I've posted on from the statisticts page? Reply fast please, because if I go afk for 2 minutes I won't be able to search for this thread
carthedani
I've noticed this as well. I'm not sure if it's still a "Work in Progress" type thing or they're having issues with it.
Aniline
I've run into this as well. I'll log in, go to the forums, and suddenly I'm logged out again and have to log back in again only to be logged out when I go to the forums. Very frustrating. I think it's something in my cache/cookies from when I was viewing the forums before I bought the game. Like my cookies still think I'm unsubscribed. Yesterday I cleared out my cache, cookies, and other temporary internet files and it hasn't given me issues since. Edit: Ooo... the search feature... nevermind I was thinking of something else. Dev Post AllisonBerryman Posted December 28, 2011 Dev Post Share Posted December 28, 2011 Viewing all of your own posts is a function of the search feature, which is currently disabled. We understand the inconvenience that this causes and will restore it as soon as possible. In the meantime, thank you for your understanding! Zachajariah
I've noticed this as well. I'm not sure if it's still a "Work in Progress" type thing or they're having issues with it. Ive managed many forums before. In phpBB it's a ( literally ) 2 second fix. All you do is enable an option to allow it.

carthedani
Well if you think about it when you're trying to view your own posts, you need to search for them first Hmmm....I guess so. I maybe mis-understood, thinking that Allison was talking about the "Search" feature for trying to find threads. Sorry

Baizak
This thread has nothing to do with the search feature....I'm confused now. Finding your own posts is a function tied to the search feature which is disabled. How hard is this to understand?

alkanterah
It definitely makes using these forums a huge PITA. Rarely can I find the thread I've previously posted in. Doesn't help that they keep "temporarily" closing threads for clean up, whatever that means. That's when they really float deep into forum history. Over 10 days now without forum search. RickRedOne
Set all your posts so that you subscribe to anything you post. Then all threads you post in will be listed, and you can check they at the top. You might want to set the default to no-email.

Draflorin
i think they are doing it on purpose to make it hard for people to resurrect the axe they were grinding yesterday. if you have to search back 50 forum pages manually people tend to give up and find something else to do. RickRedOne
I think it's because the search is destroying the performance of the web pages. Just in the last 7 days (which is all I have my settings set to display) there are 331 PAGES of threads just in General. Think of what it takes to search the entire forum!!! TheZeph
For those who don't understand how the forum works... They've disabled the search on the forum. Finding (that's what the forum does for you) your posts if used by this string: http://www.swtor.com/community/search.php?do=finduser&u=xxxxxxxxx In the red part you see the search action. In the orange part will be your userid on the forum. Edited December 29, 2011 by TheZeph
zoharek
Also, there is one good substitute for the time being: google -> phrase_or_player_searched site:swtor.com

veyl
I'm currently still bugged where I can't write anything in a Title (thus not being able to create my own threads). The ingame support and the CS on the website so far has told me on 4 different occasions the same exact copy and paste of "account issues". Meanwhile, everything under my account says that it's completed and shows the check mark as such. Yet, I still can't create my own forum posts. Maybe I was too harsh in beta about character creation being terrible. Am I being published berryman? Is that the case?!

I hope it's not because you don't see a box to put one in, because the box outline disappeared a couple of maint periods ago. You need to move your mouse pointer under the title: till you get the input cursor.
