Bioware, taking half the day off on Launch day??

Seems kind of odd to spend 100+ million dollars and several years creating this game to then decide to take half the day off on Launch day...

Anyone else think this is a little strange?

Last wave for the day went out at 12pm PST? Even in CST where Bioware is located its only 2pm.

PS

Those with access to the game. Keep your rude comments to yourself and go play already

Yep, their entire staff was pretty much just chillin today at the "send invites" button waiting and laughing about how long it'll be til the next time they push it. Now they figure they're bored of that game and are going home to drink martinis and laugh some more at you. Tomorrow they'll come in late and do nothing but sit around and look at the "send invites" button too.

Oh, and just to be clear, that's the ENITRE STAFF, as in the people that monitor servers, everything. They're all doing that.

Yes, they are taking the day off because it is completely binary. If they aren't sending out waves they're going home early and sleeping on their bed of money. It is completely impossible that they might be doing things like queuing up more servers after seeing load distribution, working on the first patch to fix bugs and exploits, working with retailers to make sure people get their games on the 20th (which they are according to Stephen Reid), or any number of things that are just as important to launch as getting people on the server in the middle of the day (US) when a vast majority of them can't play anyway.

You're right, it is binary. Damn them for going home early!

* It's not like needing more servers is a new revelation as of today. There was a beta and stress testing for a reason.

* Are you really implying that the people monitoring the servers are THE SAME employees that are in charge of distributing the product to retailers???
