The system is designed so the player can do whatever content they want to do and get rewarded for it. And you still manage to go out of your way to do something you hate doing for the sake of rewards that you can get from doing anything else in the game you actually enjoy doing.

As a side, they've raised the credit bonus to heroics slightly. But I definitely don't think anyone should buy a pass for bonus cxp on them. The bonus won't work on golds. Bronze or whatever they are enemies still have a 20 cxp reward.

The problem is that the "elitist snobs" had legitimate complaints about the entire system too before it even launched only to be vindicated when 5.0 launched when everything was as bad as we said it would be.

Increasing the time of one method of aquiring CXP by 100% is a punishment... for the devs incompetence.

Exactly this. Players who care about gear will inevitably move towards the most efficient methods of receiving that gear. You nerfed gold and champion CXP? They'll just move on to the next most efficient thing. They'll do this until enough nerfs come down that they decide it's not worth the time put in anymore for the (lack of) rewards and quit the game. And then the 'average' player is left with a much worse system than when it started, there's fewer people paying subs to support the game, and nobody wins.

Yup! They created this issue...I even warned about it in the "exploit" thread Eric posted...players want this stupid grind over with as quickly as possible so they can get back to doing anything other than grinding CXP.

The only people their nerfs are hurting are the average players who wouldn't have taken advantage of it to begin with, but are now punished by it.

That's an issue with many MMORPG's. A decent idea (not referring to CXP) is often completely ruined by a select few who feel the need to abuse it.

Incorrect. It's another way to say that for my effort in game, I'd like my reward to not resemble an online casino and not rely on random chance. AKA, an adjusted gearing system we had for years but adapted to GC. Something NOT entirely RNG.

They probably have both to be honest but no real communication to players is probably not the best way to go about this.
