You misunderstand me entirely.

I.wasnt trying.to rag on anyone. I was just surprised because hope parses me by so much and whatnot. I'm not basing people, just taking.

Every fight like this a bit difficult for hybrids, especially in 16man. Fingers are a massive overkill, I can rarely do more than 2 abilities on any Finger. Thats a dps decrease #1. Then after atune we stop dps for few seconds, again deal with fingers, then back to Hands. #2 dps time loss. #3 - unlike you I dont randomly shot lightning tentacles. If you cut any of those parses from the moment Brontes comes, my dps would be round 3k (providing I dont have a ball, we also deal with them with extreme causion).

And just like someone above mentioned, you cant judge anyone by fights like this, Titan (where on 4th position we stop dps for even 20 secons), Trasher (up to 10 second stop before 50%) or even TFB (if you are person designated to chase Anomalies). This is just not comparable between raid groups

I'm hitting a wall with DirtyFighting, I dont see myself going above 3350 no matter the gear :/ Its still a good spec, gains a lot in actuall combat (more dps in multidoting scenarios, massive gain below 30% etc), but on dummy old good hybrid will still be better

Yeah I switch specs alot. I main in hybrid, and dont have the set bonuses to practically pull off full df. But I will spec ss if the fight demands it. Such as brontes and a plethora of other fights that force me into full ss

My last parse with Balance was with less gear than I have now. Will work on getting a better Balance parse with my new gear, which will definitely beat this one out easily, but for right now Balance goes to honorable mention lol.

The honorable mentions only recognizes specs that aren't recognized already in the top 5 (like Focus spec for guardians). So neither Balance nor Infiltration are currently eligible.

I really don't get it. I myself am a sentinel and constantly strive to improve myself. I look at these logs/stats of the top maurader/sentinels and while only having 15 less str, 2 less power, they hit their Force Scream/Merciless Slash for almost 2000 more dmg each. I checked to see if they had power procs/adrenals running as well. Are we allowing these combat dummies to be debuffed by other classes or what is the reasoning behind this?

The gigantic force screams you're talking about are combat/carnage and they in particular will not benefit from armor debuffs because of the armor-penetrating nature of the specs.

As for Watchmen/annihilation, it's difficult for me to say as few parses of that spec make their way here. I'm sure there are others going on in regards to their raw damage.

If you're looking the big hit, the player was using Bloodthirst + relic + adrenal.

On an interesting note, it looks like a SA relic can't proc for Heals and Damage on separate lockouts (at least for me). So parses seem to be no longer biased in favor of Watchman/Annihilation.
