Jerba
Just an FYI for anyone who is interested; on the PTS if you click the "Pets" area on your personal furniture list and click show all you can see all the pets like the Nightmare Kell Drake, and others that are unreleased, this also works for mounts as well. I'm still hoping these make it in game since they have models and look very nice. Yes, I noticed that, it's a really neat feature. Obviously, I've been tracking those unavailable pets for a while, so we won't really find any hidden pets there, but it's nice to be able to preview all of them. In the collections, you only could find the CM pets. Though I'd wish they improved that preview window a little bit, it is very small and the pet immediately disappears when you zoom in even just a little bit. Ok, I know that the symbiote rakling is dropped from Eyeless (or at least that was what I was told anyway) but I heard that it was a super rare drop. I have done Eyeless both times and have never seen one drop. How the heck am I suppose to get this rakling when this event is only out for a week and you can only kill Eyeless 1 time in that week and never even see it drop. I have all my other raklings but this one. Yes, the Symbiote Rakling is difficult to get. I've seen it drop like 2 out of 3 times in HM, so I think the drop rate is relatively high and you must be unlucky, but RNG is RNG, it could very well be that I've been lucky. For any pet that is dropping from flashpoints, operations or world bosses, I always recommend that you stock up on money and just flat out buy the pet. That's how I've gotten the Symbiote Rakling, I just whispered the person who won it that I'd buy it off of him for 2 million credits. Most players don't care that much for the pets; they'll activate them when they get them, but they'll usually trade them if you offer a few million to buy the pet. Just be quick enough to whisper before he activates the pet. Also, the loot rules by most raid leaders allow this type of trading, since it is just vanity stuff. Two million credits may sound like much, but considering And don't worry if you don't get the pet this week - considering how big of a part the Rakghoul event is in the Conquest stuff, I'm 100% certain the event will return soon, and it will happen more often than every six months. In other news, I am very happy that this time around, there is no pet included in the PvP rewards. While I got the Juvenile Rancor from the first season, I know that most pet collectors don't PvP, or if they do they don't do ranked, and they missed out on that one. Most PvP players could care less about pets (they rather want gear and mounts), so I'm not even sure why they included a pet for the first season. Let's just hope they won't change the rewards and add a pet before 2.9 comes. Also, if you haven't heard it yet, they have changed the pet limit in strongholds. While last week you could place each of your pets only once in total, they changed it so that you can now place it once per stronghold. So if you have a favorite pet, you can place it once in each of your four strongholds. You can also donate a copy of a pet to your guild for 25k credits. To do that, you need to open the Strongholds window with U, click the "Personal" button on the left side to view your decorations, find the pet you want to donate and click the "Donate to Guild" button below the preview window. You'll keep the pet for yourself, but now anyone with a golden key to the guild stronghold/flagship can place it there. Also, you can place a pet in guild strongholds multiple times, unlike the 1 per stronghold limit for personal strongholds. You still need to donate it every time though. If you decided to donate a pet, make sure you first ask the guild if they actually want to display it, because 25k per pet is quite a steep cost! Unfortunately, there is a really bad limitation currently on the PTS: You can only place 25 NPC decorations in each stronghold. So you can only place 25 of all the companions, guards/dancers, vendors, animal mounts and pets. This is really bad news, and the limitation really came out of nowhere, it was not in there last week. I suppose it wouldn't have been half that bad if the limitation was in there from the beginning and they didn't wet our appetite. I was really looking forward to showing off all of my pets and animal mounts. If you'd also like to get rid of that limitation, please show your support in this thread in the PTS forums! I have hopes that they'll remove the limitation since I didn't really experience much lag in my pet stronghold, and this limitation will only cause them to lose money from CM sales. Jerba
Hello, Does anyone know where the hidden achievement for the rakghoul outbreak on Tatooine can be picked up? Dulfy has the hidden mission listed but not where you pick it up. I'm trying to get the achievements for this event. Well, there is no hidden pet achievement, so I am kind of confused why you ask in here. I am assuming you are asking about the "Buried in the Sand" achievement. To complete that achievement, you need to do the quests "[DAILY] Quarantine: Anchorhead" (Republic) or "[DAILY] Quarantine: Mos Ila" (Empire). You can pick those quests up by clicking on the small datapad, either in the Quarantine Zone in the city on the planet or in the Tunnels itself. Once you turn-in that quest, you'll get the achievement. Let me know if you have any other question. Edited August 10, 2014 by Jerba

Jerba
I just wanted to confirm that the Amazon 5500 coin purchase still provides the Blackbolt and not the Zonian Monkey-Lizard. Thanks for the update! I also keep checking the Amazon.com pages regularily, but they only mention the S-12 and S-13 pets. By the way, ever since we heard of that pet, I was wondering what the heck "Zonian" means, and I finally realized it's short for "Amazonian" aka Amazon.com. Let's just hope we'll soon know from where that pet comes from. So I was at the Gamescom cantina tour, and asked Musco about all the pets. Obviously, he did not know the answers directly. Nevertheless, it was nice to hear he shared the same concerns as us (e.g. the pets from EA F2P games need to be available for day-one players, and it is the fault of CS when they give players the wrong pet). However, he was quite clear that he can't talk about unreleased, data-mined pets -- I asked him about the Wonderous Egg specifically, since that generated a lot of discussion when 1.2 launched. He said that most of the time, the pets are just not ready to be released, even when we read about them, it is not a guarantee the devs can just activate them. Also, I asked him what to do when he does not respond to my PMs, and he said, "If I don't respond after a few days, just send it again, and if I don't respond then, send it again." So I did just that, and after four PMs, I finally got a reply and can be assured that our concerns got passed on to the right people at the office, even though we probably won't get a response. Anyway, now that 2.9 launched, four more pets are available (Aquatic Mewvorr from Manaan FP and three pets from Gatekeeper's Pack), and I'm sure you were busy decorating your stronghold just as I was. The 25 NPC limit bugs me, but I understand it's an engine limitation and restricted myself to like 4 to 5 pets I really liked, instead of just mass-placing all the pets. On the PTS, you can preview two new pets in the Collections: M8-M0 Astromech Droid and W4-K2 Astromech Droid, which appear to be direct-sale items. The M8-M0 pet says in its description "This droid was once the faithful companion of Cartel Associate S3-ML", similar to Dulfy's item "This remote access point to the HoloNet was provided by Cartel Associate 0U-1FY." Anyone have an idea what S3-ML could stand for? So all in all, we are now at 214 pets (including 2.10 on the PTS). Jerba
2.10 is here, and we have a new mini pet that can drop at the final boss from the new Legacy of the Rakata flashpoint, it is the Prismatic Mewvorr. And don't worry if you are not lucky enought to win it; since it is BoE, you can just buy it off the GTN as well. I'm sure the prices will soon drop below 100k. This still leaves us five more Mewvorr pets that are still unreleased, but I'm sure they will come eventually. Also, make sure to buy the W4-K2 Astromech Droid, it is currently in the Cartel Market for 280 CC as a direct-sale item. As with all direct-sale items, who knows how long it will be available... I have not seen the M8-M0 Astromech Droid in there yet, but I'm sure it will also be available soon. Jerba
After many months of searching at multiple locations, I have, at long last, acquired a Target Cartel Coin Card™ and the GSS-3 Mangler! Not only that, but the Target had an abundance of cards. Maybe these things are finally making it through the distribution chain. Gratz to you! The Target card has been available for a few months already, but I guess it took longer for some stores than for others. Nice to hear that your Target has it now as well! I need a guilded flutterplume. Where did you get this info? Basically, I compiled all of the information from other players who were buying the cards, because the only official source for the cards is incomplete: http://www.swtor.com/support/helpcenter/6850 However, the post you quoted is an old version of the list, I have since updated it multiple times. This is the most recent one: Generation 1 pets: EU (physical): Forest Nekarr Cat - available (German/Austrian version): EAN 5035224111541 GameStop (digital): Lobelode - in stores as "EA Star Wars TOR 2400 Cartel Coins" or online. retiring soon Walmart (physical): Gilded Flutterplume - UPC 79936604974, retiring soon BestBuy (digital): Arctic Manka Lynx - from the Pre-Order kiosk, SKU 8919082, or online. possibly retired by now Amazon.com (digital): Umbral Blurrg - retired on November 12th, 2013 Target (physical?): Crested Orokeet - shortly available from BestBuy before being recalled, now unknown Generation 2 pets: BestBuy (physical): Model NovaDive - available, SKU 2308029 (advertised as Model Flashfire) Amazon.com (digital): Model S-13 Sting - available Walmart (physical): Model M-7 Razorwire - available, UPC 079936615316 (advertised as Model B-4D Legion) Amazon.com (digital): Model S-12 Blackbolt - available for 5,500 Cartel Coins Target (physical): Model GSS-3 Mangler - available, Store Item Number (DPCI) 207-08-0265 EU (physical): Model FT-6 Pike - shortly available but not anymore (advertised as Model S-13 Sting) GameStop: Model Flashfire - unknown (advertised as Model NovaDive) Generation 3 pets: Amazon: Zonian Monkey-Lizard - unknown, appeared with patch 2.8.2 As you can see, Walmart started getting the new Model M-7 Razorwire cards in February 2014, and to the best of my knowledge stopped getting any new Gilded Flutterplume cards then. There may be a few cards left in some stores, not sure. Your best bet would be to write down the UPC and go to one of the employees in the store to look up the stock. If you are lucky, they'll find a card in that store or another one in the region. If all else fails, you can still buy a card from eBay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?&_nkw=cartel+coins. The codes will still work, even if the cards are no longer produced, but you need to pay a hefty mark-up there. Nice to hear that your Target has it now as well!I've looked in about 15 Targets across 3 different states and some of them even had the tag for them on the shelf but this is the first one that's actually had them. Jerba
The Constable's Stronghold Pack is available now, which also means two new pets are available, the Cartel MJ-52 Miniprobe and the Model B-4D Legion. If you haven't been able to get them directly from a pack, you just need to wait roughly 26 more hours until they become available on the GTN. IIRC, the Model B-4D Legion was originally mentioned as being available from Walmart, before they changed the page to say "Model M-7 Razorwire" upon realizing their error. So it's nice to finally be able to get it, even though it's from a different source. The W4-K2 Astromech Droid that has been added last week is still available, so make sure to pick it up as long as you can! I still can't find the M8-M0 Astromech Droid in the CM, but I'm sure it will be up soon. It's just the golden probe droid from the Festival of Splendor event. I finally looked into this more and I have to retract my earlier statement, it appears that you are correct. At the Festival of Splendor casino event on Nar Shaddaa, you could buy an item called "G07-DY", that will unlock an ability called "G07-DY" that allows you to call an NPC pet called "G07-DY". If you looked at the vendor during an early PTS version, you may have still found the pet under the old name, "Golden Server Probe" before it was renamed to "G07-DY". So for all intents and purposes, the pet is called "G07-DY". The strange thing is that under decorations, this pet is called "Conspicuous Consumption Probe". There is no decoration called "G07-DY" or "Golden Server Probe", and when you unlock the "G07-DY" pet, you receive the "Conspicuous Consumption Probe" decoration. And when you place the decoration, it will spawn a "Conspicuous Consumption Probe", not the "G07-DY" pet. For comparison, here are the two probes next to each other: http://i.imgur.com/cgxfQCS.jpg The pet is the one with the blue nameplate, the decoration has the green nameplate. As you can see, they look identical, they are just named differently and it appears that there are two separate NPCs for it that both reference the same pet. Because of this, I find it unlikely that we'll ever get a different pet called "Conspicuous Consumption Probe" and I decided to remove it from the list, dropping the total pet count from 214 to 213. However, I'm happy to hear any other opinions on this. LegoUniverseBC
Yeah, I assumed that was the original name of the pet before it was even on the PTS and it was never changed since they likely had it in since GSH was originally suppose to release with 2.8 and the event. Jerba
Omg, on a hunch I checked the Gamestop page for the 2,400 Cartel Coins and it was updated! Now it says that the Model Flashfire is available. The Google Cache version (from Sunday) stilll says Lobelode, so it must have been updated either yesterday or today. Has anyone already bought the Cartel Coins since the page was updated and can confirm whether or not you get the new pet? Also, it would be interesting to know if you can get the pet from the codes in-store as well, or just from the online store. Bonus! Exclusive "Flashfire" Mini-starfighter Pet! [...] Key Information: - The GameStop 2400 Cartel Coins Card comes with a unique rotating in-game item, "The Flashfire". [...] The image does not yet work, but at least the text was updated. Note how in one position, it still says Lobelode, they probably just missed that part of the page when copy & pasting the new name. Yeah, I assumed that was the original name of the pet before it was even on the PTS and it was never changed since they likely had it in since GSH was originally suppose to release with 2.8 and the event. Intereresting theory, that could very well be true. But I guess we'll never know... Edited September 16, 2014 by Jerba

Jerba
I can confirm that the Model Flashfire is now available. Some additional information: You need to have a U.S. billing address that matches your credit card's address, or a U.S. PayPal account to be able to buy the code from Gamestop.com. Even though it says in the fine print that the card "is valid only in US and Canada", apparently you can only buy it from the U.S. Otherwise, I suppose you could try and buy the code directly in one of their U.S. stores, but at this moment we have no information on whether the store codes also give you the Model Flashfire, or still the old pet. Once you have the code, there is no restriction anymore. It is the regular 16-digit format (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), so you can enter it from anywhere in the world without needing to use a VPN. So if all else fails, you could always buy a code from eBay. Unfortunately, the pet does not make any sound when you right-click it; not sure if that's bugged or working as intended. The account-wide unlock is 1 CC, similar to the other Cartel Coin card pets, but since you get it in the mail for each of your characters, there's no need to unlock it. It is a great relief to finally be able to put the Model Flashfire off the list of missing pets, it has caused a lot of headaches. I wonder if my PM to Musco did in any way influence their decision to finally publish this pet. If you remember, the problem with the Model Flashfire was that Customer Service mixed up the Best Buy and Gamestop pets, and accidentally granted a player the Flashfire when he should have gotten the Novadive. Finally, they levelled the playing field for pet collectors again and gave everyone a fair chance to collect the Model Flashfire. But we are far from finished, there are still more pets that need fixing. These four come to my mind immediately: Crested OrokeetLU-20 BuilderN4-SW RunnerModel FT-6 Pike But we are definitely on the right track now. It's time to update my list, so here is the most current version of the pets list from Cartel Coin cards. As you can see, I marked the Lobelode as retired now, but if anyone has information that the Lobelode is still available, please let us know. LegoUniverseBC
Now that I have most of the generation 2 pets, is anyone excited for the generation 3 pets coming in the not so near future? I hope they go back to creature pets as the ship pets are cool but not as cool as creatures IMO.
