Any Agents know how many companion points you need to unlock Vector Killik's first dialog?

I'm at 2500 and still nothing. Though I am getting the "companion wants to speak with you on your ship" icon from time to time randomly in the companion bar, when I go to the ship its gone, and no conversation is available.

I've logged in several times, summoned and un-summoned (while off the ship of course, before trying again). Nothing seems to help. Is it really more than 2500 for dialog 1? Or am I perma-bugged
