The amount of time it takes to install a "programme you'd never otherwise use" is SMALL compared to the agonizing complaining and waiting you'll have to do if you don't contact them as you are asked to in cases of billing and account issues. It's not enough that your card worked fine and now doesn't work and someone should put two and two together to get four, magically waving a wand and fixing it. You have to be more active than that.

Of course, your choice. If you really don't want to see anything happening, by all means, don't call.
