Thank you for your response i tried a clean boot with my duel boot OS of windows 7 which is really there just for this reason, it is a new install with all current directx, visual basic c++ sp1 with current drivers. I don't even have anti virus on that installation of windows to rule out any thing that as a cause. The only other program installed is flash player and java.

The only start up program i have in the task bar are the volume control still the same results if you need me to work with cs to track this crashing down be glad to help
