  1. It's an issue with other (all?) weapons that have moving components. It happens with the Primordial Cannon as well - often times when sheathing the weapon (putting it on your back) the barrels will disappear. I have the Cathar Warstaff also, and the blades that extend will often disappear whenever the weapon goes on my toon's back.
  2. My original attempt (the o.p. of this thread) was with the Firefox browser. I tried with IE today, and the forum text boxes seem to work ok in the IE browser. I re-tried with Firefox, and some text boxes still make the text invisible when you try to type.
  3. swtor.com forums, some text boxes don't work For example, when making a thread, I can not enter anything into the "Title" box, and I can't do forum searches anymore, because it won't let me enter any text into the "search terms" text box. EDIT: I see my thread got titled "ffff".. so it seems that maybe they accept text in the box, but it's just invisible until after posting
  4. I have to say you were doing something wrong. I leveled my Sage with no one but my companions (not counting most heroic quests), and had very little difficulty. The last boss in the class quests was the only thing that was difficult, but it wasn't all that bad when you figure out the strategy for him.
  5. 100% agree. The new helmets would look very cool without the little dish. With the dish, they just look damn stupid.
  6. Thanks for the replies Is it significant enough to make it really not worth it to bring a Scoundrel over a Gunslinger? I just ask because I have a Scoundrel that I specced healing, but I really never use him (it's not my main toon). I keep him around for his Cybertech crafting, but with the tree reset, I was wondering if it's worth it to spec dps and do some raiding?
  7. So, for PvE, like raiding, is Scoundrel worth it, or is the Gunslinger still the far better choice? Also, would the Scrapper tree or Dirty Fighting be the better tree for PvE dps?
  8. The way it is now is horribly horribly tedious and frustrating; about the worst in-game experience I've had with TOR so far. Please make it so it at least gives some kind of clue where the object is (more than just a wide area to look in). Started the seeds quest, haven't got a single one, and I'm ready to never touch the seeker droid ever again.
  9. The binoculars are decent. The seeker droid, at least for the seeds quest, is HORRIBLY HORRIBLY TEDIOUS. I haven't even found the first seed yet. Just kept dropping the droid all over in the area it was supposed to be in and got nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, and more nothing. Right now I am basically decided to never do anything with the droid ever again.
  10. The macrobinocular stuff seems pretty decent so far. The seeker droid, however is just awful. Takes WAY too freakin' long to find stuff. Got the quest to find the seeds, went to Taris, and after a while I feel like I will never do anything with the seeker droid ever again. Never got the first seed yet.
  11. this is just ridiculous.. how many millions of other websites have a search feature that works just fine? this is the only site i've been to yet where it's consistently broken..
  12. Yeah.. two weeks. Fix it already. It's pathetic that it's taking this long.
