  1. Well I am kind of sure, because I've used exactly the same implant that you've linked in post #1. So unless you were mistaken, it is the right one. :-) I went exactly the same way as you said, and both power and surge are doing fine. The issue is with mainstat. It's not getting bolstered as it should. In fact its barely gettng any strength bonus at all :-( Bear in mind I'm not comparing to Obroan here. I'm comparing two different lower implants. A blue level 53, and a purple level 54. They both seem better than Obroan but the blue seems best
  2. I've done some research of my own on the implants... The results are kinda weird. I've got two separate implant types, one is a lvl 53 blue and the other is as you recommend here a lvl 54 crafted purple. I've equipped the same implant in both slots and tested out the results. No other gear changes were made. Both implant sets were not augmented to make it as easy to read as possible. The results are as follows: http://imgur.com/a/pI4B2 As you can see wearing the blue implants gives me over 130 more mainstat, while the only benefit I get from the purple ones is the additional accuracy and crit. As for power it seems that did not get bolstered, because the purple ones had 8 less power, so all in all its 16 less. There is a difference and the blue ones seem better :-( Btw. please don't tell me I have crap gear - I know. It doesn't change how bolster works when I only swap two implants...
  3. I'm in the process of optimizing my pvp gear, and was wondering... what would you guys pick? Would you go with 64wp/12p mod or the xxWP/39p mod? Right now I'm all 12p for the additional crit, cause I figured it wouldn't nerf my healing bonus much... Was I wrong?
  4. I've read through most of this thread, and haven't found anyone thinking as I do, so I guess I'll chip in... In my opinion, You cannnot be a master of both light and dark, but you can use both at once. Jedi revere the Force, they treat it almost like a deity. Any act, that would disrupt, change its flow is considered an atrocity, and abomination of sorts. Sith use the Force as a tool, they shape, and bend it to suit their needs. I've loved the part of Legacy of The Force, where Vestara, Ben, Luke, and that Sith Lord were on Abeloths planet. It was terribly hot, but still Luke and Ben were apalled, when they saw how the Sith use the Force to cool the air around them down. Now imagine the same technique used to the extreme by a Jedi, who was saving someone from being burned by fire, or from overheating (no matter how ridiculous this sounds). Those are two uses of the same technique, yet in one situation it is purely dark, and in the other it is light. For me this is the difference between both sides. If you were say a Jedi Master, but knew how to hurl Force Lightning, you could possible use it, and not corrupt yourself, but it would be nowhere near as effective as a Lightning hurled by a Sith Lord. Same goes for healing techniques. A Sith Lord could possibly use a healing technique to alleviate minor backpain, or something similar, while a Jedi could use to save lives. I hope I've made my point the right way :-)
  5. I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction by the fact that this event made a 25-year-old man cry with tears of joy! This is an outrage! I DEMAND moar of those events!
  6. I'd just like to express my deep gratitude towards the team that got this idea. I was literally crying with tears of joy when I was in a 24-men group first killing the infected Bantha, and then rushing straight at a Republic Outpost =) Then we went to do the dailies, and had like a dozen or more duels with some Republic players (yes I'm a meanie Sith ). Later on we went on a rampage infecting everything we saw, that looked near-human. The whole event is completely lovely and absolutely renewed my point on this game. Thank you Bioware!
  7. What I would love to see in here is an improvement upon the idea of capital ships. Once you get them, you should be able to take the ships to some guild-specific raids (both solo and group instances), where you can get, say, some crafting components, that would later allow you to craft top-tier gear. The gear should not be overly powerful, just on par with the operations gear, since it takes a lot of time to actually get the components. Take a look at Anarchy Online, and their idea of organization cities. You can raid for gear, or rather components necessary to make the gear, and then you can make it happen. Worked out pretty nicely for them, and made the game much more interesting
  8. As with everything that concerns PvP you have to adapt to whats going on - thats a given. I just wanted to give an example of a situation, where storming mid is actually a good idea
  9. I'm going to defend some of those, who go mid. When we go into a wz premade, we tend to first rush mid, and either cap it, or let other people go to sides, since you can almost be certain, that most of the enemy team will go straight to mid. If you manage to hold them there long enough, your teammates may have enough time to methodicaly eliminate the remaining 1-2 enemies on sides and cap them both. Whats wrong with this tactic?
  10. Can you reread the situation please? :-) What I was asking about was that a healer was able to heal himself WHILE being stunned - thats whats baffling for me. Next time I see him I'm gonna fraps the fight, so you guys can see what I'm talking about
  11. Offtopic: And what does that have to do with me paying attention to my surroundings? I already know that I was interrupting the wrong heal, so now I can adjust. It's no reason for trolling me here Ontopic: Any ideas on the first situation? I can't seem to understand why that channel bar was there, and I can't really believe it was a matter of latency, since stun lasts for a couple of seconds, and if latency was in the range of seconds, we would be unable to play the game at all
  12. I was paying attention to my surroundings I am CERTAIN we were alone
  13. I am quite certain we were alone there. I don't think that medpak+heal could've done that, but perhaps you are right. I'll try asking him again, but he tends to simply ignore me when I try to talk.
  14. Actually that might also be the answer to situation one :-) Thank you for that! At least I now know what I should expect
  15. I am not going to name the ones responsible, but I'd love to see someone explain this to me... I've been very active in the warzones lately, and while facing a single, select guild, I've noticed that their Sages seem OP. I know I am not the best pvper out there, but can you please explain to me how is it possible: Situation one: Huttball, me (Juggernaut - champion geared) vs a "Sage". I've choked him, putting armor debuf stacks on him, and he uses the destun. Now I use my second stun, and while he is stunned, his heal-channeling pops up, and he gets healed. I am certain he was stunned, and yet he used a heal. How is that possible? Situation two: Voidstar, me (Marauder - champion geared) vs a "Sage 2" - same guild. I'm beating the crap out of her, shes almost dead, she uses her first heal, I interrupt, put dots on her, she uses second heal - poof! 50% health back, another heal - full health. Then pebbles, throw rocks, and repeat until I'm dead. Again.. How is it possible to outheal with 4 dot stacks on you, and getting hit by Annihilation? I know you're going to say its L2P, but how would you explain that I can take on these same classes, and have a decent chance with about anyone else, BUT this guild? Are there some widely unknown tricks to Sages that make them really OP? I don't want to know the details... I just wanna know what I'm doing wrong, so I can fix this... And before we start arguing, yes I am certain there was no other healer around.
