  1. That's not the question he asked. Create a new thread and complain about streams if you so desire but that isn't the question he asked.
  2. Someone here doesn't understand big data and how data works in a larger sense. Yes, you can actually answers some of those questions but that's not something I would expect a lot of SWTOR forum users to understand. Trust me when I say Bioware knows a LOT of things about this game that forums warriors would never guess they know.
  3. Just don't use it or buy if you don't like it. Simple? That gets the point across you don't like it. Those who DO like it will do what they please. Let Bioware make a judgement call from real data, not forum posts.
  4. lol. I think we're on the same page. The underlying point of this topic is to catch them is some kind of trap where some of the community (not all) can berate them for wasting time or spending too much time in meetings.
  5. The following is what the angsty community wants to hear: 8:00am - 10:00am - Show up at work, use the side door to avoid eye contact 10:00am - 11:00am - Grab coffee, talk about the weather, maybe take a another break 11:00am - 1:00pm - Leave for lunch, drop off dry cleaning 1:00pm - 2:00pm - Update single line of code to fix some non descript bug that no one even notices, update CM 2:00pm - 4:00pm - another break, log into World of Warcraft, copy idea, paste into SWTOR dev code 4:00pm - 5:00pm - Look at forums, *evil laugh*, leave early, cash HUGE paycheck, laugh again
  6. That's...ridiculous. I don't even need to explain why.
  7. I'm not defending the poorly optimized engine but how in the world does a massive guild NOT know that you can't do massive PvP events in this game. It just doesn't work for multiple reasons. Look, you have to play this game with that basic understanding. Its a story driven MMO that supports up to 16 man content. Any more than 16 people in one location and you're going to have a bad time. Everyone should know this by now and even if you don't, someone in the guild should speak up and say "hey guys, we can't do massive events in this game, the game won't support it."
  8. I know reading the entire paragraph isn't your agenda. Its ok.
  9. Lol. Maybe you missed the part where I said I understand some of the complaints. I'll just let this one pass.
  10. While I kind of understand some of the complaints about hot bars and "hide helmet", most of these "rethink the f2p model" posts all boil down to one thing: I want to cancel my sub and these things should change so I get the same benefits as I did when I was a sub. Sure, the complaints about the more draconian restrictions have some merit but more often than not, people just want to play the game for free without any of the major restrictions. (Which is BS...because developers and programmers have to be paid in some manner. Money doesn't fall from the sky.
  11. Can some of you possibly be more ungrateful? (Don't answer that.) Granted you are paying for it, but this is a minor content patch. I still have several characters to even get to 60, let alone get through all the FPs. The current HMs are still kicking people's asses and now we complain when we get more? If this patch was what they listed plus a bunch of bug fixes, would that mean more? A bunch of you are always clamoring for the fabled "bug fix only patch" (which is a gross waste of resources to begin with). I must be completely crazy to see these release notes and say "that makes sense considering its patch 3.1." I'm not sure what else you expected. We already know there are some much bigger items coming soon.
  12. No. There are some issues on some planets but its nowhere near anything like 2 years ago. Log on yourself and find out if you like it. There have been MASSIVE improvements in the game and its systems. That said... Problem areas: WZs Frame Rate is terrible right now. Same can be said for 16m ops. The dev team made some updates to the GUI and now the GUI is chewing up processor cycles like never before. The GUI is obviously the culprit and we have been told they are working on it.
