  1. OK, I can't wait for this expansion! While I am happy for the new planets, new missions, new stories, etc., I am not thrilled about the new level. One of the things I like about being L55 is not having to level up anymore! Now I have to Level up six characters I spent most of 2013 getting to L55! Also, does anybody know if there are going to be gear upgrades that accompany the new levels? That's something else I am not to keen on. I'm still trying to collect some of the current L55 gear! That being said, everything else about this expansion sounds wonderful!
  2. Interesting observation! To answer the person you replied to, Revan was always a Dark Jedi: aggressive, fiercely independent, perhaps a bit self-righteous. It makes sense in the overall story arch that he is still Dark. I just hope we can put his twerp in the dirt forever this time!
  3. I was a sub when Hutt Cartel came out, and you had to purchase it at the time. Same will go for this new expansion, if I read the description correctly.
  4. Hah! Let's hope so! Revan's been in circulation longer than yer typical $1 bill, only a $1 is still worth something. I am all for companies going Green, and trying to conserve resources. But the imagination is not harmful to the environment, so you don't need to recycle Star Wars characters. Revan?!?! Really?!?! Can somebody please tell me what they see in this character? I have never understood the appeal.* This is actually a serious question. FYI, I am not a hater who is thinks Revan "sucks." But at the same time, I have never found him to be interesting in any way. I'm still looking forward to some new content, Revan or not! * Note: I never played KOTOR
  5. For a long time I have wished that I had a "home base" for my characters as an alternative to leaving them on their ships, or in a cantina, when I log out. The expansions in this game have been great so far, and this is another good one! I am really looking forward to it!
  6. I feel like I would be the same person in the Star Wars Universe as I am in this universe. I think if you are good person in real life, you will not truly want to be a bad person in a different universe, unless you want us to imagine that we would have a different value system as well. In real life, I have a service job like a lot of other people. In the Star Wars Universe, I would probably still be an ordinary worker. I can imagine myself working in a cantina as a mixologist, or maybe working as a manager in some kind of entertainment complex. If I was not in the service industry, I would like to work in a droid factory (just not the one on Balmorra!!!!) or in the Kuat Shipyards* ConCube, if you're really looking for a sense of belonging you may be happiest seeking out people in the Star Wars Universe who are like you in real life. For example, if you're a musician on Earth, you should play music in the Star Wars Universe, too. If you're ambitious and entrepreneurial on Earth, then you'll probably start you own business in Star Wars. Another poster said she was a nurse in real life, and that she'd like to be a Jedi healer if she was a Star Wars character. She obviously cares a lot about people, so it's natural that she'd also care about others in the Star Wars Universe. Extraordinary people on Earth would probably be extraordinary people in another galaxy. Most of us would just be ordinary folks living our lives from day-to-day. Now, let me tanswer your question another way. If I used my imagination to create a Star Wars character that was completely different than me, and had a different value system, I would be a Dark Jedi. For example, has anybody watched "Versus: The Way to Shadow" ( ). I think I would be a character like Darius: not an evil person, but one who is very powerful with the Force, and is able to tap into both the Light and Dark sides. I would not want to be as tormented as the character in the film. I would want to be more at ease with myself and what I was doing. But I would not want to serve the Republic or the Sith Empire. I would probably find my own "Kaliyo" and travel the galaxy. I would hire myself out as some kind of Dark Jedi bounty hunter/private investigator, and make a living that way. I would be like "Jim Rockford," only I'd have a starship instead of a trailer, and I'd carry a saber and be able to use the Force. And I'd have a Rattataki girlfriend. But Mike Post would still write my theme song. * Come to think of it, they're (we're?) fighting in the Kuat Shipyards, now, too!
  7. 1. Please tell us a little about yourself. Why do you want to be a part of the Czerka family? I already have a family. I was born on Herdessa. My father was in the Imperial Diplomatic Corp. I have recently lost my own government job because the Dark Council eliminated my old department as part of its ongoing efforts to "downsize" the Imperial bureaucracy. I would like to join the Czerka team because I believe my military background and my combat experience make me a suitable candidate for the company's marketing or sales divisions. 2. At Czerka, we pride ourselves on our accomplishments. Please name three of your accomplishments that you are most proud of. (Please do not include family milestones such as marriages or the birth of your children.) All of my accomplishments are classified. 3. How did you go about achieving the accomplishments above? Would you say you would do "whatever it takes" for success? I am bound by oath not to reveal the secrets of my success. Now, if by "doing whatever it takes" you mean killing sentients and blowing stuff up, then, yeah, I am willing to do "whatever it takes" to help Czerka grow and thrive. 4. Would you say you have a strong moral compass? Do you think this could get in the way of your job, should you be asked to do something...questionable? The compass is an ancient tool. I am guided by the latest in galactic navigational technology. The concept of "questionable" is all relative. I would only consider something "questionable" if a good Rate of Return (ROI) for the company was not guaranteed. 5. You are about to enjoy our wide variety of complimentary cocktails and snacks, when you notice that your esteemed colleague's newest experiment is likely to break out of their confines while you are gone. How would you handle this situation? I would make sure that nobody was looking, then me and my girlfriend Kaliyo would beat the living bantha droppings out the "experiment" until it behaved.
  8. Thank you for the Double XP Weekends! I played heavily during all four of them, and I was able to level-up both of my characters quite a bit. Please bring these back in the not-too-distant future!
